Our Canadian winters are ultra dry (just like for many others). I have the exact same ultrasonic model in black, purchased from BestBuy (online store only) for about $159.00 CAD (on sale too!). I hated the extra water at the bottom of the tanks. I also HATE reading ANY manuals, but I will give it a try to fix it (watch RUclips vids like this one!). But, I figured out by myself (hardly) through "trial & error". What a waste of time! The "essential oils" tray is of not much use either: I am using a separate Diffuser for that "spa-like" atmosphere. I really hoped you showed us HOW to get less of that water at the bottom of the tank of this Humidifier....
Homedics brand in my experience is cheap junk. They simply do not last. The more features the more problematic. Our new Homedics ($90) from Costco lasted 3 months. Then stopped working. We have an old Vicks unit for many years. It is simple. It works. Fill it, clean it weekly. It just keeps working.
Just got mine. I think if I keep it cleaned regularly I should be golden!!!! Love your voice.
I love the way you put it.
I’m going to through it into my recycling bin!
You are sure a curious soul. Thanks for than grandeur explanation. I feel like I just had a life lesson

If you don't have the oil tray would that not make it work?
No The oil tray is for adding fragrant oils . It has nothing to do with operation.

Homedics are the absolute worst humidifiers you can buy.

Jay Harvey Or maybe the Homedics one is too complicated for your small brain to comprehend.
