You can tell by his voice that rainn's voice actor, at least as an adult, is male. Theres no such thing as a genderless human. We're all either male or female biologically speaking
The fact that the realm/universe Raine lives in/is raised in does not have discrimination against gender/sex does their character and non-binary identity justice
rain whispers was introduced as a character in the show just after I came out as non binary so I will always feel close to them in particular but I'm just so glad that there is actually representation in kids shows today
When I first saw Raine, I was amazed! We knew Dana already made her mark with the abundant representation in the owl house, but I never predicted a non-binary character included as well. Raine is easily amazing. And spoiler alert below from the last Season 2 episode. Raine can’t be dead. They are too precious to Eda. I know they promised Luz to protect Eda, but still.
When I first watched the episode where Raine was introduced I thought something did look physically different about them, I actually thought they were a Trans Girl at first, mostly because… I don’t know it’s hard to describe they just looked like it. But it’s cool to see representation like this
My favorite non-binary character is of course Raine Whispers from The Owl House seriously they are littally the first non-binary Disney character!🤩 Plus I love them already and their chimistry they have with Eda!❤️
Not even giving Jim from Our Flag Means Death an honorable mention is a crime when one of the characters on the list isn't even canon nonbinary in the text of the series (just comments from the actor)
A favourite of mine is Adira Tal from Star Trek Discovery. It is a really amazing take on being non-binary. Because it takes place in the far future, using they/them pronouns is completely normal and not a single person in the show questions it.
Famous film actor Tom Hiddleston did a great job playing the MCU Loki version, millions of MCU fans, including myself can’t wait to see him again in the future.

In a Loud House based fanfic I made, I've created a sort of non-binary/genderfluid character for the new Middle School principal. Their name is Mx. Sasha Baskerville; an eccentric, charming Pansexual character from the U.K. who helps Lincoln's school understand that there is nothing wrong with being a guy who enjoys boy AND girl activities (and vice versa.) Sasha loves music, spa treatments, cooking, baking, helping serve as the drama teacher (as well as the V.P.) But when they want to get "wild," Sasha enjoys delving into "manly pursuits" as well like sports or acting rowdy at parties. Design-wise, I got the idea of Sasha's look from Rainbow Quartz 2.0...but I gave them a pair of half-rim glasses that are shaped like RQ's smaller set of eyes. Sasha also carries a parasol but instead of a star, like RQ's; THEIRS has the British flag with a heart at the center bearing the rainbow pride colors. Interestingly enough...when I first learned about non-binary people using they/them pronouns, I presumed that when it came to such people introducing themselves publicly; they call themselves we/us (sort of like how the English royalty use the "royal we")
So many things are wrong about this video, Yael and Lola are barely friends in DNC… Sexually Fluid isn’t gender fluid. And Klaus is androgynous not NB. He’s referred to himself as a man multiple times in the series Tell me someone not LGBT with zero care for the community made this video.
Raine Whispers and Stevonnie are my favorite non-binary characters in animation. Hope future non-binary characters are as great, or possible better, as these icons.
It’s so nice to see representation. I’m gender queer and still figuring out what that means to me. Seeing someone whose confident in themselves helps me be one step closer to also being confident.
As someone who is genderfluid the fact that you MsMojo content creators made this list means the world to me. Thank you. Also Stevonnie will always be my personal favorite because of just how alike we are. But thank you again MsMojo
I think Disney doesn’t usually keep their big animated series going for too long, but at least they get proper endings. Gravity Falls got two seasons, Amphibia and the DuckTales reboot got three, Owl House is getting a third (though it’s technically three double length episodes, so maybe not technically a full season)
@@polishalastor142 With Wendy it didn’t present at all in the show and with Sasha all we got in the show was a sticker in a rear-view mirror; how far does that really go?

Few honorable mentions: Najimi osana (komi San can't communicate with you series) Zoe hange (attack on titan franchise) BMO (adventure time franchise) Neferpitou (hunter x hunter franchise) Crona (soul eater franchise) Marshmallow (annoying orange franchise)
Stevonnie, Double a trouble heck yeah!! But seeing Loki finally being seen as fluid just wins because people deny it all the time as if they don’t know the lore!
In terms of Loki being identified as non-binary, in my eyes, this makes sense in terms of mythology as the gods of our world are depicted as divine beings which transcends gender.
One thing I dislike about some people is who is anyone to tell another person what they should think or feel?¿? If a person decides that they don't want to identify themselves as a male or female even though they were born that way, so what?¿? In my mind, the most toxic types of people are the ones who try and push their beliefs into society as they're right and everyone else is wrong. As a straight woman, as a child my Mother would often send me mixed messages in the sense that being gay was wrong, I feel she was also a bit of a racist because of the names she would call black people or Japanese folks..and if I were to act like her,she would tell me NOT to mistreat others based on their sexual orientation or the color of their skin. I have moments of resentment towards her because of it. If she were still alive, I have no doubt she'd be the same way. I am so glad that over many years I have been changing the way I think & feel even though at times I do still struggle a bit with it all. Happy Pride Month. 🏳️🌈 🙂👍🏻
Non binary is not a thing. Whatever delusional way you feel is your business but don’t expect everyone to agree with it and call you by your ridiculous pronouns.

When Loki talked to female Loki in the show, I and many others thought Loki was bisexual when confirming an affinity for princes and princesses (or kings and queens, I forgot which one). So upon hearing this, just to pay respect to Loki’s character, should I refer to Loki as they/them, him/his, or both (cause I know Thor and other Avengers refer to Loki as he)?
Loki is very different, most of the older gods are, they not only can be male/female humans, but they also can be animals. There is a particular story when Loki turns into a female horse and then gives birth to one…
Loki is gender fluid which can go by different pronouns depending on the person. Some may choose to go only by they/them. Some may be okay with al pronouns he/her/theirs/etc. And with some people choose to go by a different pronoun depending on how they feel that day. As Loki is a fictional character and we can't ask them how they want to be referred to, the safest option is they/them pronouns.
