I'm so glad this show is back! Everyone raise a glass to Lance Reddick, a great actor gone much too soon. Thankfully he was able to record all his lines as Thordak before he died.
it's back! Yes, Raishan was the little girl who escaped to Whitestone with them early in season 2. Grog spoke to her briefly. the Fire Ashari also mentioned the rift was opened by someone posing "as one of their own" she might also have been the person who pointed them towards the Slayers Take? don't quote me in that one though.
@@MikeyVenture Even though the name by itself isn't important, I mostly agree that it should have been revealed at least 1 episode later, when the shows finally confirms that it's an actual demon and not just Percy's dark side. It really feels like there is no communication with the people in charge of the subtitles, because I remember something similar happening in Arcane, where the subtitles spoiled who was talking before the show actually confirmed it. Even though the context made it obvious, it's still annoying when it happens. But at least Netflix fixed the mistake when the viewers pointed it out, while the spoiler is still in Vox Machina years after season 1. A shame.
Vorugal, the Ice dragon is voiced by Liam (Vax) so he was fighting himself in the opening sequence. That is the same little Girl Grog saw when they fled to Whitestone from Emon.
The vision with Keyleth at the grave was a future if they all live long lives. Keyleth (if not killed by something) will outlive everyone in the group by centuries. Vax is afraid of hurting her by dating her and dying, leaving Keyleth all alone.
For my 2 cents, Vax going alone always has terrible results: nearly killed by vampires, charmed by vampires, Vex died, nearly killed by Umbrasyl. There might be more but that's all I can recall from the last two seasons.
Great video. I probably mentioned it before but you should react to the animated Mystery Incorporated show, and maybe the live action pilot that is currently out. They are both pretty good

The demon's name was never said out loud in season 1, but he was subtitled and credited as Orthax.
Ahh yes I remember now that the subtitles said that, and lots of people in the comments were annoyed that they put their name there
