My favorite part of this is right before eraser cut of his leg. He was thinking about Eri, what I think is because she needs his power to be able to control her power. ❤
I suspect there might also be a touch of saving her further pain and guilt. Given all that Overhaul tried to instill into her, that she might think 'she' cost Aizawa his power if that happened. Still epic Dadzawa, just even more complex.
he was thinking about his little girl; and how much he wanted to protect her, and what he was willing to do, and how far he was willing to go to keep her safe. he was willing to cut off his own leg for her because if he lost his quark; everyone was dead, including Eri.
Oh I hated Bakugo at first as a charachter like him is so easy to screw up, thankfully every concern I had was addressed throughout the series as part of his natural charachter arc and now I can add him to the list of best redemption arcs.
@@micahnieman673 it really is an annoying break in mood, and that's why it irritates me that it makes me laugh. I'm just there thinking "jesus, Machia's gonna destroy everything, this is terribl-" MAkInG ma waY doWntOwN~ 😐😖🤦😆
Ive read the show, watched it in sub, and then watched the dub and watched reactions to both. At this point im finding great joy in these edits myself, but i get im far from the standard
About Monoma copying Aizawa’s quirk: While that would be really useful, the teachers were trying to keep students away from the battlefield as much as possible (that plan’s of course falling apart now lol) but if you remember, the students were only acting as support in the backlines. They served as rescue heroes and helped evacuees. Now things have changed because Shigaraki was targeting ofa so Deku had to leave the back and enter the fight which caused kind of a butterfly effect of students joining the battle (like Bakugou and Todoroki)
Its still insane to me that they have these super powered teenagers who have shown their strength and resolve time and time again yet they still think of them as children in need of protection. The students have shown themselves to be stronger than some of the teachers multiple times but 'oh no they're children!"
@@WhatsIQ It's not that they think the kids are weak: the fact that they've been included in the battle to begin with is acknowledgement of their strength. But at the end of the day, they want the adults to take care of business because the kids shouldn't HAVE to have everything relying on them. It's not just about their physical readiness, but their mental fortitude as well. They've been through loss and hardship, they know what it can do and they don't want the kids to go through that stuff so early in their lives. Plus, at the end of the day it IS their job as adults to protect these kids as much as they can. Fully trained, seasoned, *adult* heroes have died over the course of this battle. Who in their right mind would WANT to send a child into that situation?
@@WhatsIQ They ARE children, period, it doesn't matter how good or capable they are, they haven't fully realized yet and the last thing you want is for the next generation to die prematurely in a war that they shouldn't be fighting in the first place
@@luciano1240 at this point they are all ~16 they are NOT children and it does matter how good and capable they are. It's kinda stupid to have everyone fight in a war that you know will end the world if you fail yet keep the students away when they adamantly want to fight. It's literally a matter of life or death if they don't fight and the older heroes lose then the students are dead because it's just them vs the villains instead of them + the experienced heroes against the villains.
I will say that Midoriya and Bakugo's rivalry very much wasn't a one-sided thing. They each recognized different aspects of one other. During their confrontation at the end of S3, Midoriya even says he didn’t really like Bakugo as a person but at the same time was inspired by his talent and drive. Whereas with Bakugo, Midoriya's constant selflessness and idealism just rubbed him the wrong way, like he was too nice.
I have to say, while this show has been gradually getting darker as it progresses, I never expected something like Aizawa cutting his leg off. I know by this point we've see *far* worse things happen, but I don't know why that part shook me.
Well they did that "Monoma main character moment counter" when he copied OFA so either their really good or they have editor Chris on this who's caught up
Monoma copying erasure is both dangerous because you're dragging a kid to this fight, which they wanted to avoid and kinda random since nobody could predict this fight happening (he would also have to keep making contact with him over and over which would be risky)
Now Katsuki's goal is take Izuku's hand 😅😅 is a real hero 🥺 37:18 In the future, it will become clearer to Bakugou the consequences of his actions. I think many people forget that there are consequences of bullying in Izuku, but not everyone notices it...😢😢😢
@ the deku/bakugo and allmight/endeavor parallel question: one of my favorite thing about those parallels is that the opposite parallel also exists! bakugo and all might were both born-naturals with their powers, all might having a handle on 100% of OFA immediately and bakugo being a child prodigy, while deku and endeavor both struggled heavily with their quirks due to their inherent backlash (deku's limbs and endeavor's overheating). this parallel can be seen significantly when it comes to deku's OFA training-- despite also having OFA, all might ends up being not the best teacher for him, as the power coming so naturally to all might means he has no idea how to teach deku how to use it. on the other hand, when deku is at endeavor's agency, endeavor immediately understands deku's struggles and how best to teach him. endeavor even has a line talking about how he sees his own struggles in deku ("you've had troubles with your quirk. trust me, you're not alone" in the dub and "you were one of us, too" in the sub) leading to deku's rapid growth and mastery over blackwhip i always thought it was super cool
kenny:"why is bakugo different than endeavor" montana:*manator from gravity falls*"emotional issues" lol but yeah people forget that bakugo is a teen, still not ok, but like he was 14 and younger at the time yk
I've seen a couple comments explaining the whole Monoma situation, and while I do agree with them, there is something else to consider. If you look at the students who where chosen to help out the heroes, you'll see that they were all doing their hero work studies with one of the heroes present, and were assigned to help out in the same raid as them. For example, Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki were doing their work-studies with Endeavor, and so went to the Hospital raid team since Endeavor was leading there. Similarly, someone like Kirishima was doing his work-study with Fat Gum, who was assigned to the Villa Raid Team, and so Kirishima went there as well. We can follow the same pattern with the rest of class A since we know with whom they were doing their work-studies with, as shown in season 5 episode 15. For class B though, while we know for some of them like Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki, since they were shown with other class A members during their work studies, the majority were shown without a specific hero. So for those that we see throughout the operation, like Kendo, Honenuki and Komori, it can be assumed that their respective hero was enlisted in the Villa Raid team (because outside of Fukidashi who was doing his work study with Wash alongside Koda, every class B member we see was assigned to the Villa Raid team). And inversely, those that are absent were doing they're work studies with a hero that wasn't assigned to either the Hospital or Villa raid team. As for Monoma, we don't see him at all during the entire raid. We know that he did his hero work-study with Pony Tsunotori who is also absent from the raid. So, it can be assumed that the hero they worked with wasn't enlisted for either one of the raids, thus explaining why neither Monoma or Tsunotori were there.
It was scary with Giantomachia running though all these cities because he sanpidees though so many people and yeah, they dead. The poor hero students are feeling. In the Manga when Midoriya and Bakugo were training together, they called it catch-a-kacchan. It's also nice to see Bakugo cares and worries for Midoriya and is willing to call All Might out on some certain hidden facts. I still feel like the Kacchan pushing Deku out of the way and taking the hit was better in the manga. You're not watching the Outro's!!!! Some are different and they're so beautiful!! Funny thing about Bakugo thinking he ws better then Midoriya then tried to match UP to him, where Midoriya always looked up to Bakugo and tries to mate him as much as he imitates All Might. I know it won't be of use cuz they probs already watched them, but I wish they's pay more attention to the outro ending credits. There were some that were different due to what happened in the episode.
One of the biggest episodes in the show, sadly a lower budget one too. (And I still love every moment of this episode anyhow. Season 6 just rocks.) Alright last time Aizawa got hit with a quirk deleter literally FLICKED by Shigaraki into his leg. He clearly heard Ryukyu, and actually pushed Manual and Rocklock out of the way practically to insure HE got hit. Which might not make sense….until he does one of the coolest things he EVER DOES. And that’s SAYING something. Thinking about Eri and her trauma and progress from her abuse from Overhaul, all the smiles she has given EVERYONE, he doesn’t want her to think about rewind being responsible for ANOTHER person she loves losing their quirk. And because the Nomu called Ribby in the lab broke his leg as they escaped the giant decay wave that Crust had to save him from, there’s just no point in keeping his leg as he LOPS IT OFF LIKE NOTHING. Not only to commit to this, not only to time it to the INSTANT his leg is hit, not only taking on the information Mirio must’ve given to him that a rewind dose takes time to effect and you feel every bit of it, (in the Overhaul base, when Mirio got hit, you could see the effect cross his entire body. So I guess you can FEEL that because Overhaul wants to be cruel to those he robs their quirk of) and just does it WITHOUT FREAKING BLINKING. Shigaraki says it best witnessing it. Just WHAT A MOVE. Erasure remains in play. Now I’m not sure exactly what happens after that. I know Aizawa’s eyes stop glowing for an instant and I would absolutely believe Shigaraki found a moment to use body enhancements to escape, but at the same time Deku and Ryukyu just weren’t even looking at or paying full attention to Shigaraki because of Aizawa’s clutch move, so I can’t rule out them just not at all paying attention either. He’s 5x stronger than Deku at 45% no quirks and we see nothing on his body changed when he escapes. So I’m actually MORE convinced by the latter. But this opening is CRUCIAL. He blows away everyone and lunges at Aizawa. And he rakes his face taking an eye at the same time. (I still see one here but that pointer finger was DEEP.) Skull damage, eye damage, it takes him off the board. Thank GOD Deku and Todoroki pulled him away because if he held on any longer, that’s an opportunity to steal Erasure. Which would just END THINGS. Shigaraki now has his quirks back and is healing the damage everyone worked so hard to get on him. And we’re left looking at the kids that were at the Machia field. Just sitting there, looking at a new canyon. I’m reminded of a scene in Gravity Falls where Bill Cypher puts his finger on the planet to draw a smiley face. That’s what I think is happening as Machia runs clear across the country right through full cities leaving the same trail of destruction we saw the kids left with. The heroes were beaten in an instant because he decided to be only slightly more serious and not even bothering to eliminate his opponents unless they were directly in his way. There’s no one to intercept, nothing is left. And Mineta is simply left making the sad depressing points no one wanted to say. Not as a know it all, but because after EVERYTHING they tried to do, after every trap, every move, they just got bulldozed anyway. The heroes are TRYING EVERYTHING but we are watching Nomu devour them, Machia trample them, and Shigaraki has his quirks back. The villains overpowered the heroes ENTIRELY. All resources, the right timing, the right plan, and it’s as Midnight recognized. There wasn’t enough. There’s no All-Might and no Sir Nighteye, the ONLY people that could’ve made a genuine difference. and even plugging Aizawa and Endeavor at the Machia field would’ve lead to his capture sure, but then Shigaraki would’ve gotten SEVERAL more decay waves in. You can look at this chessboard all day long. But it’s what makes chess with AFO so freaking dangerous. Theres literally no combination that would’ve worked because the whole plan of the villains was to overpower their entire profession. Even starting early, it’s clear that they DID make enough pawns cross the board for extra pieces. Now all you can do, is be grateful you’re still alive. But even though the Machia field has used up every resource they have, we just have to press on. Shigaraki has his quirks back and can COMBINE QUIRKS with decay for an even bigger wave than last time. Rocklock recognized Deku as a hero but he’s also an overprotective parent. He didn’t want Deku to see ANYTHING here, and wants him OUT. And worse, he sees that Deku isn’t backing down. And before anyone can make up ANY kind of plan of what to do next, Shigaraki feels like it’s time to wrap everything up. He has OFA mere feet from him, he has Gran Torino and Aizawa down, and Endeavor is worn down to next to nothing. But then my FAVORITE new theme from this season kicks in. (It’s called Revengers. That piano solo is AWESOME) We FINALLY get the reveal of what it means for Shigaraki waking up at 75%. Not only is it the quirk adhering to his body, but his body hasn’t stabilized either. He is PUNISHED for using quirks, PUNISHED for shoving his body around at max power. Neither were even supposed to be a THING. They literally balance everything out effortlessly. And Shigaraki realizes something he should’ve the moment he woke up next to a hero checking his vitals. The heroes wouldn’t wait for him to be fully charged. 4 months haven’t passed, and he’s not immortal and invincible YET. Deku knows EXACTLY what that means as someone who is ALSO supposed to be unbeatable and unstoppable. And to him there’s only one choice left. Even if he’s not ready it’s time for a 1v1 for this generation’s grudge match between OFA and AFO. And he unlocks the SINGLE minded thought password when Shigaraki goes to decay again. Get off the ground. Get EVERYONE off the ground. Just like with Blackwhip the password was CATCH HIM. And he awakens Float. I can’t even imagine how happy Gran Torino must be seeing this. Nana’s efforts as a loving hero were just TRAMPLED on by Shigaraki’s anger and bitter scorn. And now Deku is here showing the same love for people if not FAR, FAR GREATER than Nana. He couldn’t stop him from acting as the 9th holder, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a wonderful thing he has a bigger heart than the two biggest hearted heroes in known history. Nana may have not been known as such but you DO NOT get someone like All-Might to regard your selflessness THAT highly, think of you as a mother, learned EVERYTHING from if your heart isn’t on the same level as him. And I do by the way defend her decision with Kotaro as heartbreaking as it was. I can’t say why exactly but it will be revealed down the line. I can’t talk about the flashback TOO much here as that subject just needs its own thing like the rematch between Bakugo and Deku in Season 3. But suffice to say Bakugo is concerned watching all this go down. Deku doesn’t really know it, but despite his power disadvantage, despite his speed disadvantage, despite EVERYTHING, Deku managed to fit himself into the PERFECT SPOT while fighting Shigaraki. Shigaraki has EXACTLY what he wants with a 1v1 with the power he wants to steal with all the quirks available to him. But Shigaraki is starting to realize the game has changed completely. He’s IMMENSELY destructive but he doesn’t want to kill Deku until AFTER he takes OFA. So now he needs the best way to subdue a flying slingshot grapple blowing apart his arms REPEATEDLY with non lethal force. That’s a LOT of things to cover and AFO doesn’t normally even have much of an answer with NO additional quirks. While he’s not doing more than Endeavor did, his direct hits with 100% are not just crazy fast but just explode energy compressed into his body on impact. Every opportunity he has to parry or counter and he explodes away with no grip. It’s an IMMENSELY risky strategy but Shigaraki also can’t really do combinations either when his body is punishing him for the incomplete AFO transplant. ALL HE HAS is his All-Might steroids and wait him out and even then with Deku’s ABSURD PAIN TOLERANCE that is a LOOOOONG waiting game. Now that Deku is at 45% maximum control, a neat detail is Deku seems in almost MORE PAIN than he was in the early days of throwing 100% around. Deku back THEN was definitely in more pain, but Deku didn’t recognize it that much because he was always so full of adrenaline each time he let loose. Today that response is WAY less needed so Deku is doubtlessly PROCESSING the pain now. (20x your physical limits and a bit over 2x your limits is a BIG change when using 100%) And that’s WORSE. He’s screaming in agony as he goes one after another and we have a VERY limited amount of arm uses left before it’s gone for good. But with each passing blast, even when he’s planning out how much to hurt himself and just TREMENDOUS AMOUNTS of energy blasting, so long as there’s healing, Shigaraki is going to be fine failing body or not. But Deku HAS bought enough time. They gotta get Endeavor up to Shigaraki to just SUN BLAST HIM and hope we can FINALLY end this. SURELY STUFFING A SUN ONTO AN UNGUARDED SHIGARAKI IS ENOUGH. It is NOT. Endeavor is just TOO gassed out and it shows Deku was NEVER going to outlast the All-Might steroids and regeneration. In fact it’s WORSE. AFO has been a nuisance but quiet up til now. Taking full command is MUCH louder. Shigaraki made a deal with the devil, and he thought he was going to be a new devil. But all he did was let the devil loose from hell. Crawling out of the hellfire that consumed him for so long, eliminates the guardian to the gateway, he looks at his target with 200 years of extra experience and takes his shot. And to keep the only healthy striker left? Bakugo steps in to insure there’s still a chance. And THAT is where we leave off.
Holy crap. Somehow, I never noticed that Aizawa had injured his leg, and that THAT was the o w he cut off. 😳 Thanks for revealing the title of the track. I, too, love the piano solo at the start of it. 🎶 🎵
The one line that feels dumb from the episode and chapter in the manga is bakugo literally pointing out he's using multiple quirks outloud, and nobody questioned him on that
@everburn at that point it was chalked up to being "an extension to his existing quirk" so him outright saying it felt weird, although people could just write it off as "nobody was paying attention to his rambling at that moment"
I think they did? Not in the moment obviously because there are more pressing concerns, but I'm pretty sure in the aftermath they asked either him or Deku what was up
@chronosclaimsall I think that was from the radio transmission mentioning One For All and endeavor piecing it together in the hospital bed on how it connected to deku
I mean to be fair people refer to Todoroki's quirk as multiple quirks, the idea of someone's quirk having multiple powers isn't unknown, and people seem to refer to that as multiple quirks even if that isn't technically what's happening
About the fourth user and the flashback, SPOILERS for stuff latter in the season, but I think Kenny has seen this already. The fourth user's quirk is Danger Sense. Basically the previous user of the quirk is driven mad by the quirk constantly going off, so he retreats from society and lives as a hermit in the woods. This makes him the only OFA not to die young in battle, but his body starts to decay simply from housing OFA. He still ends up dying around forty because OFA is destroying him from within. All Might has discovered some of this, and is worried that Deku with a quirk that can sense danger around him will break himself trying to save others, and he is concerned what OFA, now that it is growing exponentially, will do to Deku.
I'm glad I'm more caught up or else this thumbnail would be a huge spoiler for me. I've had other big moments, character deaths, etc. spoiled for me by other channels' thumbnails and titles.
Fun detail: Bakugo wasn't present in the first episode when Deku picked up his notebook from the pond, which means Bakugo was watching Deku from a distance
@@LettsReact pls keep editing. However, personal opinion: the running gag in this video was running too often. Losing the fun, being more disruptive instead, and thus taking away from your reaction itself
I disagree with the assessment of Deku's character in the post-episode Q&A. The bullying he suffered during his childhood informs almost every aspect of his character. Bakugo says it during the episode: "He just doesn't think about himself." Deku's complete lack of self-worth and self-preservation instincts come from being taught over ten years that he does not matter. He is shockingly accepting of the possibility that he dies if it means that Shigaraki is stopped in this fight: "No matter what happens to me. That's why I'm here." Deku does not inherently value his own life. He values One For All, as a power that allows him to help people and as a gift from his beloved master, but he does not think that he is important; it's the power that makes him important. I think these are all things that come from the decade-long bullying campaign by Bakugo. That's the realisation that he came to in that flashback.
Monoma was no where near the front lines simple as that and his lack of experience with fighting a really though villian is something to consider. Anyways the handling of Bakugo's redemption has been fantastic, after this there was just one thing left for him to do to make it feel complete and it happened later.
Monoma can't just copy Erasure and use it long term. He can't hold onto quirks for a long period of time. Besides, the students aren't supposed to be on the front lines, with a few exceptions.
(DONT READ THIS COMMENT KENNY AND MONTANNA, SEASON 7 STUFF) I’ve never noticed this before but for everyone whose caught up in Season 7….. . . . . …….Bakugo had the sparkles when he moved… ✨
A personally thought it was different since it was him moving before he thought about it but I can understand how it could be his quirk starting to awaken
Bakugo's body moving on its own is THE perfect closure to his character growth, the whole arc was that he wants to win and Deku wants to save people, once their fight in S4 happened, Deku's growth stayed about the same, it just solidified his beliefs. But for Bakugo it was the start of growth, and saving Deku without thinking about is the perfect culmination of that arc, bravo to the writers.
*Kacchan has really grown over that past year. This really isn’t too different from the sludge villain incident, except this time, he’s the one moving without thinking. And of course there’s Mr. Aizawa. They’ve both done irreversible damage to their bodies for the sakes of the people they know...*
Kennys getting real bad at spoiling as its happening lately. 😂 He said he's using "Shi" then stopped himself with the float quirk. He luckily caught it this time 😅
Nobody actually expected that they were gonna have to fight shigaraki so Monoma obviously wasn’t with them. They were also trying to keep students of the field
If someone asked me to describe Aizawa in one word, it would probably be hardcore. Remember back in season 1, when he saved Tsuyu with his quirk after getting his arms snapped like twigs and his face smashed by a nomu?
they didn't bring monoma because they were thinking they could get the villains without shigaraki waking up. That is also why on villa site they did not think gigantomachia would move
During the Tomura/Izuku fight, I just keep thinking "it's a wonder Tomura hasn't Gwen Stacy'd yet" because Blackwhip is wrapped around Tomura's waist, and super regen only heals injuries after they've happened, so either Tomura constantly has to heal his spine or he's okay because he has massive plot armour
35:43 I'd say the series doesn't necessarily agree with you there. AM tells Deku and Bakugo after their fight that the drive to win no matter what AND the determination to save everyone are both necessary to be the best hero. Deku has been emulating Bakugo's trashtalking to hype himself up ever since the beginning. Bakugo starts emulating Deku's team mentality and will to save more and more since their fight. His idea of a win evolved to a "perfect win" in which everyone makes it out ok. Together side by side, they perfectly represent the essence of AM's heroism.
The red and black quirk is called Rivet Stab. AFO used it in conjunction with Forced Quirk Activation to cause an unconscious Kurogiri to use Warp Gate and remove the League from the fight in Season 3. It can also be used to cause piercing damage such as in this episode.
I love how attached Montana has become to Bakugo, as most of us have at this point. His character development has turned him jnto my favourite MHA character, such a well written character.
3:13 "Clean cut, you're such a badass Eraser" the way he says it lmao Shigaraki certified Aizawa simp (and I'm a shigaraki simp so that line has me giggling and kicking my feet)
Montana makes alot of good points but going to add ontobthe and and kinda say its not really a good thing if deku ends up the same as all might seeing as all might gave up so much to uphold his status as symbol of peace and in the end basically broke down his body to keep thst up and even now we can see in deku that line of thinking is very self destructive as deku is literally breaking himself in this fight
A Girls Ego: 7X20 is my new favorite ep. Haven’t heard the dub yet but the sub went crazy. Music, animation and plot. Can’t wait for you 2 to get there!!
(At 3:50) The rip on his face, damaged one of his right eye. Eraserhead has lost his depth perception. He can't use his quirk anymore. And since Eri's unexperienced using her quirk, since Recovery Girl is near retirement, she can't bring his eye or his foot back.
There's a couple of lil details in the closing credits that changed a few times this season, showing changes for specific characters and big moments. When Twice died and this episode for Bakugo are two in particular. I'm sure it changed for Dabi's Dance too.
36:30 I believe that, in Deku’s case, it’s not that the bullying he suffered didn’t impact him deeply, but rather him acquiring one for all (and the life altering changes it brought him) served as a temporary bandaid for his internal struggle with his own quirklessness, thus resulting in him pushing that pain into the back of his head without working through it. As has been stated in canon, quirklessness is viewed as the worst thing to be in mha’s society, probably on par with or worse than having a heteromorph quirk. Quirklessness being seen as less than human is so pervasive and normalized in mha’s society that Izuku grows up believing his bullies are (to an extent) right in seeing him as less than, because even he feels that way about himself. So more than Izuku being unaffected by Bakugo’s bullying, his overly compassionate nature (and his internal belief that Bakugo wasn’t entirely wrong for seeing him as less than) has shielded Bakugo from facing any real backlash or punishment for his wrongdoings. However, the effects of Bakugo’s bullying (and society’s rejection of his quirklessness) are still very much visible in Deku’s personality, even after all his growth. The way he always puts himself in dangerous situations without regard for his well-being, basing his own self worth in how useful he can be, or how much of a burden he can avoid being, completely reflect how much he’s internalized the bullying he went through. Though the issue of internalized quirkism will be touched upon a little in the future, I’d love to see izuku face that internal struggle directly, come to terms with his past quirklessness and find his inherent value as a person beyond a quirk.
And believe it or not, this is only the beginning of the GREAT pay-off bakugo's character development has people can't shut up about how Endevour had THE BEST MOST WELL WRITTEN DEEPEST character arc in this series WHEN BAKUGO IS RIGHT THERE
@@HaydrogenBomb I love Endeavor's character arc, but one thing that sours me on it is Spoilers for 7x19 . . . . . . . . . . . . how much of the Todoroki family plot he took over. Some of it was necessary to sell us on his growth, but imo their part in the second war should have been all about Shouto, seeing as mha is the story of these kids doing better than those who came before them. And we did have a lot of the focus on Shouto, don't get me wrong. And the whole family being there for Toya was necessary for Toya's sake. Yet the way the conflict ends with Shouto passed out alone on the side, while Enji's arc hits its climax... Shouto was indeed their family's hero, just like Rei said, but the focus immediately shifted from him to Endeavor. And what's more, the episode should've been called Shouto Todoroki: Rising, because that was his rising chapter in the manga. Origin and rising chapters are special. They took that from him for some reason, just to hype AM up for a 5 second scene. It wouldn't have taken much, just a small scene of Fuyumi and/or Natsuo rushing to check on Shouto after Enji's apology would've worked to end the episode on a much better note. Instead, Enji is focused on Toya while both Fuyumi and Natsuo are cradling a passed out Rei. No one gives a damn about checking on Shouto, he's just lying there. Feels a bit shitty after everything.
@NoctilucaBloom I get what you're saying, but hasn't Endeavor always been the driving force of the Todoroki family plotline? I know that it was introduced to use through Shoto and he got it started, but the family exists and is as messed up as it is BECAUSE of Endeavor, and he's the one who changes the most out of the family because of it. People call Shoto "anime-Zuko" for all the right reasons, but I've always thought Endeavor filled that role more, as HE'S the one with more of the positive development, at least comparitively. Completely agree on changing the episode title, tho. Not only is the Todoroki plotline front and center for episode 19, but the "I Am Here" works MUCH better for the upcoming episode 21, when "it" is actually happening.
@NoctilucaBloom Also, side note: S P O I L E R S How DARE they tease us with that EPIC All Might and All For One rematch in an episode where the Todoroki plotline should be the main focus (even naming the episode after it), and then make us wait for the season finale by following it up with the Toga episode instead of that. That was NOT cool. Toga's never exactly been one of my favorite characters, though episode 20 did make me appreciate what they were going for more, but come one. It felt just little rude to hype up a fight like THAT, and them wait to deliver by resolving the conflicts of two other villains.
Lots of chills-inducing scenes in this ep. Season 6 was just on another level. 7 is great too but S6 had more payoffs to character arcs and emotional through lines.

Monoma is still a student, kids weren’t allowed to be on the front lines for this attack, deku & friends didn’t follow that order
I agree with you here Deku and shigarki cold with it in his episode❤

Aizawa cutting his leg off without even BLINKING is an absolutely INSANE moment, and yet they somehow managed to top it with Bakugou skewering himself
Monoma quirk ie amzing l agree with you here❤
@@WhatsIQ It's not that they think the kids are weak: the fact that they've been included in the battle to begin with is acknowledgement of their strength.

Now Katsuki's goal is take Izuku's hand 😅😅 is a real hero 🥺

In the future, it will become clearer to Bakugou the consequences of his actions. I think many people forget that there are consequences of bullying in Izuku, but not everyone notices it...😢😢😢
@ the deku/bakugo and allmight/endeavor parallel question: one of my favorite thing about those parallels is that the opposite parallel also exists!
bakugo and all might were both born-naturals with their powers, all might having a handle on 100% of OFA immediately and bakugo being a child prodigy, while deku and endeavor both struggled heavily with their quirks due to their inherent backlash (deku's limbs and endeavor's overheating). this parallel can be seen significantly when it comes to deku's OFA training-- despite also having OFA, all might ends up being not the best teacher for him, as the power coming so naturally to all might means he has no idea how to teach deku how to use it. on the other hand, when deku is at endeavor's agency, endeavor immediately understands deku's struggles and how best to teach him. endeavor even has a line talking about how he sees his own struggles in deku ("you've had troubles with your quirk. trust me, you're not alone" in the dub and "you were one of us, too" in the sub) leading to deku's rapid growth and mastery over blackwhip
i always thought it was super cool

@@hollyk2925his name is Kenny
One of the biggest episodes in the show, sadly a lower budget one too. (And I still love every moment of this episode anyhow. Season 6 just rocks.)
Alright last time Aizawa got hit with a quirk deleter literally FLICKED by Shigaraki into his leg.
Thanks for revealing the title of the track. I, too, love the piano solo at the start of it. 🎶 🎵
To this day, I have to wonder why Endeavor has a Nuclear attack in his arsenal
Because Plus Ultra, that's why.
The one line that feels dumb from the episode and chapter in the manga is bakugo literally pointing out he's using multiple quirks outloud, and nobody questioned him on that
Kinda hard to refute that he has mutiplie quirks at this point
Aizawa literally cut his leg off without blinking. My top 3 favorite characters
The making my way downtown was foul. I love it
About the fourth user and the flashback, SPOILERS for stuff latter in the season, but I think Kenny has seen this already.
He saw it on his own and over at ep 20, so he saw with Montana too, im sure it was answered, he just forgot about it this episode
some of the things they said made me think "Yeah wouldn't it be nice" while thinking of season 7.

Exactly my thoughts!
The edits were on point this video! Lol.
Same Montana.... Same
Monoma was no where near the front lines simple as that and his lack of experience with fighting a really though villian is something to consider. Anyways the handling of Bakugo's redemption has been fantastic, after this there was just one thing left for him to do to make it feel complete and it happened later.
So a kid got impaled and a teacher had to cut his leg off. Things aren’t looking too good for the heroes…
Don't forget that said same teacher had his eye ripped out
Monoma can't just copy Erasure and use it long term. He can't hold onto quirks for a long period of time. Besides, the students aren't supposed to be on the front lines, with a few exceptions.

Those red and black tentacle spikes are his most commonly used quirk. The user who had that quirk must have been very strong.
*Kacchan has really grown over that past year. This really isn’t too different from the sludge villain incident, except this time, he’s the one moving without thinking. And of course there’s Mr. Aizawa. They’ve both done irreversible damage to their bodies for the sakes of the people they know...*

He said he's using "Shi" then stopped himself with the float quirk. He luckily caught it this time 😅
Nobody actually expected that they were gonna have to fight shigaraki so Monoma obviously wasn’t with them. They were also trying to keep students of the field
I feel like the bakugo stab completely overshadowed that Aizawa cut his own leg off WITHOUT EVEN BLINKING!!!! Like damn, that's hardcore
I still don't believe that Aizawa could've cut his leg that easily with that knife as if it was butter.
yeah but following realistic physics, most of the cast would have died AGES ago
his leg got broken by a nomu like 5 episodes ago lol
During the Tomura/Izuku fight, I just keep thinking "it's a wonder Tomura hasn't Gwen Stacy'd yet" because Blackwhip is wrapped around Tomura's waist, and super regen only heals injuries after they've happened, so either Tomura constantly has to heal his spine or he's okay because he has massive plot armour
21:17 keep watching closely, deku slaps Shiggy's hand away lol
35:43 I'd say the series doesn't necessarily agree with you there. AM tells Deku and Bakugo after their fight that the drive to win no matter what AND the determination to save everyone are both necessary to be the best hero. Deku has been emulating Bakugo's trashtalking to hype himself up ever since the beginning. Bakugo starts emulating Deku's team mentality and will to save more and more since their fight. His idea of a win evolved to a "perfect win" in which everyone makes it out ok.
Together side by side, they perfectly represent the essence of AM's heroism.
A moment of Silence for Montana's mental health after this episode fellas😔🙏🏼
The red and black quirk is called Rivet Stab. AFO used it in conjunction with Forced Quirk Activation to cause an unconscious Kurogiri to use Warp Gate and remove the League from the fight in Season 3. It can also be used to cause piercing damage such as in this episode.
I love how attached Montana has become to Bakugo, as most of us have at this point. His character development has turned him jnto my favourite MHA character, such a well written character.

Whole body chills TWICE in this episode
league of villains reference
(At 3:50) The rip on his face, damaged one of his right eye. Eraserhead has lost his depth perception. He can't use his quirk anymore. And since Eri's unexperienced using her quirk, since Recovery Girl is near retirement, she can't bring his eye or his foot back.
I like how at 11:30 Montana was still super confused XD
(At 10:52) So y'all HAVE watched the Goku Black Saga on Dragon Ball Super.
There's a couple of lil details in the closing credits that changed a few times this season, showing changes for specific characters and big moments.
When Twice died and this episode for Bakugo are two in particular. I'm sure it changed for Dabi's Dance too.
The making my way down town sound effects are killing me
36:30 I believe that, in Deku’s case, it’s not that the bullying he suffered didn’t impact him deeply, but rather him acquiring one for all (and the life altering changes it brought him) served as a temporary bandaid for his internal struggle with his own quirklessness, thus resulting in him pushing that pain into the back of his head without working through it.
And believe it or not, this is only the beginning of the GREAT pay-off bakugo's character development has
people can't shut up about how Endevour had THE BEST MOST WELL WRITTEN DEEPEST character arc in this series
WHEN BAKUGO IS RIGHT THERE
I agree with that sentiment
I mean . . .
"Both. Both is good."
@@HaydrogenBomb I love Endeavor's character arc, but one thing that sours me on it is

how much of the Todoroki family plot he took over.

How DARE they tease us with that EPIC All Might and All For One rematch in an episode where the Todoroki plotline should be the main focus (even naming the episode after it), and then make us wait for the season finale by following it up with the Toga episode instead of that.
That was NOT cool. Toga's never exactly been one of my favorite characters, though episode 20 did make me appreciate what they were going for more, but come one. It felt just little rude to hype up a fight like THAT, and them wait to deliver by resolving the conflicts of two other villains.
8:52 These Thousand mile edits with Gigantomachia are hilarious 😂
Not Fred My Leg jokes o7 Aizawa’s leg 😂
Lots of chills-inducing scenes in this ep. Season 6 was just on another level. 7 is great too but S6 had more payoffs to character arcs and emotional through lines.
I cackled at the "making my way downtown" bit lol
