    I just want to say LITS is such a great interviewer. He does an amazing job of listening to the guest and I can really feel his empathy for Antti's story which is just so rare and infectious. I also love the curiosity he has for Antti and how he uses that to ask such in-depth questions on the fly. Just bravo dude, honestly
    Then on the other side of the table, Antti is the freaking Terminator of game development. As he was talking about how he doesn't feel like he's doing any more than the bare minimum for a game dev, I realized he couldn't get any cooler than he is lol

    I love road to Vostok, and the transparency of Antti, but god damn those people at the beginning of the video are such clout seekers. There are a lot of positives about the first demo, but there was a lot WRONG as well. The recent demo update is proof positive of that. Gun recoil and sounds were not good, AI has a one track mind, no loot etc. Great interview btw! Antti is the man, so it was good to learn more about him.

    • @fluffysquirrel8385
      @fluffysquirrel8385 Год назад +4

      lol. though the first demo wasnt blowing me out of the water like those youtubers **supposedly** were, i did enjoy it and played like 10 hours of update 1 alone. i am 101% sure public demo 2 is about to be fire though.

      @@fluffysquirrel8385 absolutely man. The demo 1 v2 update made an awesome improvement to the overall feeling of the game and demo 2 should really give us an idea of how the finished product will feel. With safe house and lootable items and multiple maps, a border crossing etc. I predict It will be the moment Road To Vostok really begins to shine!

    I really liked the topic of unfulfilling looting in DayZ. My friends and I would always talk about that when playing, as well as talking about the bare bones building interiors. Speaking of unfulfilling looting, Escape From Tarkov's looting system really promotes (loot route) runs ending up with going to the same exact places every raid, which I never liked. I wish the weapons cases and stuff were more or less procedurally spawned even if they were spawned in "high risk/high reward" areas, creating a new experienced every raid

    One thing with the dynamic events like with the truck that is on route to resupply the trader is if the player does destroy the truck I think it would be cool if the next source of the ressupply like another truck or a boat was then harder to destroy as it is a more valuable convoy with more guards or other vehicles escorting it to its destination if you understand what I’m trying to say I think it would be a cool way to sway the player and give more risk

    Being transparent also has its drawbacks - when you're very open about features and even just mention small things in blogs/vlogs that are in the pipeline, if you don't implement them, the backlash is ready. This happened to CP2077 pretty badly, but thankfully they've had time to implement stuff after the release. Kind of like No Man's Sky, but not blatant lies per se.

    • @PixelFabula
