I love these itineraries. I just switched my 4 night solo to Cozumel on Enchantment of the Seas in December to the 4 night on Utopia the next week in December. These feel like a way to enjoy this class of ship for shorter trips. I think this is a great option for folks at A very reasonable price. Agree with staying on the ship in Nassau, if you've been to Nassau a couple of times, you've seen it all, although I would be interested in seeing Royal Caribbean's new resort if I wasn't already going to Coco Cay. I can also see myself doing the out and back to Coco Cay a couple times a year. Very solid weekend beach getaway.

I like the 4 days cruises, im not sure qhere you are seeing these prices but i saw an oceanview cabin on 4 nights on Utopia in august for $414 per person. I like that price. New ship, new experience, enjoy the restaurants and spend the rest of the vacation days in Orlando at the parks or whatever you like doing. Its a ton to do in Orlando!! Love it there.

I think it's great that there are so many cruise options - so we can all find what works for us. (three nights is too short for me, and if I was in FL, I think a 4 day would be a great getaway. I like your idea of combining Orlando time w/ a cruise too. Regarding prices, I try to stick with what's on the line's website, and compare it to CruiseCritic's averages to see how far off base it is. It's more of a baseline so you know if you're getting a deal or not. $400 pp on a 4 day cruise is still over $100 a day, which is an average cruise price - all things being equal (well, as equal as they can be).

I’m wondering if doing a back to back 3 & 4 nights would be worth it? Then you get 2 days in Cococay.

In my book, just about every cruise is worth it. 😁 Of course that's assuming the price is good too. It's a vacation, so why not? I'd feel really good about it if the back to backs visit different places, but there a worse places to be than cococay! (Like, not on vacation. 😂)

I notice that you are referring to the Utopia of the seas and you are only referring to it sailing on the weekend but it is also doing 4 days weekday cruise.

You're right - I should have been a bit more clear on that. I do discuss the 4-day itineraries, but I think I may have implied they're over the weekends. I guess I took Royal Caribbean's lead a bit too much on this. Of note though, the itinerary ratings are the same because the stops are the same.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!

Royal advertises it as a weekend cruise.

@@s.n.e.8941 - exactly. I'm sure some people's weeks start in the middle as well - so a nice Tue-Thur "weekend" cruise would be perfect! It's really semantics and marketing speak. Either way - the itineraries are the same, no matter the days they land on. Thanks for the comment and watching!

I think I would do this weekend kind of cruise if either I lived in Florida, or was on an extended stay there and just wanted a quick get away.

Ditto. Given the cost of these weekend cruises, I can't imagine traveling to take one. It will be interesting to see how the market responds. Is there enough demand? Will they end up needing to pivot to other types of itineraries? Time will tell

Utopia offering 4 night also gives Extra sea day which I love. Many in southeast USA will love a mega ship offering 4 night cruises. We are booked for march 2025. Brand new ship so pricing is ridiculous! Will do it once then go back to a smaller ship. 50+ age we dont need the majority of the amenities. Cruising on Allure of the seas soon. Cant wait for aqua show. Will stay on ship at Nassua as we've been there many times. Utopia we are looking forward to the dining experience where u r in a train dining car with differnt scenario out your "window". Right up my alley!

I agree completely and it does sound like a fantastic way to spend a weekend for sure! Hopefully there will be last-minute sales that make a weekend getaway easier for more people to hop on (like you mentioned, those in the SE). Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate it!

I got an interior solo for about $900 including fees, tips etc.last week. With RC you can get a repricing if the price drops
