No Chael, alleging CTE does not excuse you from criticism for the rest of your life. Ronda Rousey has a major personality flaw. She'll do anything and blame anyone but herself for her losses. Years later and she still hasn't come to terms with reality. She fought because she had a giant ego and thought she could beat Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match and she lost because she had no skill at standup whatsoever. She was a one trick pony and the girls figured her out.

Ronda's downfall was her coach and her ego. Her Judo was world class. But she got it fed in her head, and started believing she was a boxer. Could she have developed boxing skills over the years to sharpen and strengthen her game? Of course. But her aim should of always been to get the fight to the ground where she is at her best. The fact she tried to stand and trade with Holly and Amanda, shows she had yes men in her corner. No real coach who cared worth a damn would of told someone like Ronda "Yeah, go ahead and stand and trade with Holmes, you can out work her in the stand up." Then, after she got fucked up in the first round, she comes back to her stool and her coach says "You did great that round, keep it up" He's the one to blame really. She paved the way for women's MMA. But no, I do not believe she is even close to the greatest fighter that ever lived.

I don't think we can or should forget Ronda's attitude at a given turn during her tenure. I was one of the people defending her amid a torrent of fans complaining about her poor sportsmanship and bad attitude. All this was well prior to her purported brain issues. Insults were flying while I was trying to put fires out in her defense. How could anyone exercise anything but what they express as they cast insults in the direction of those they claim are wicked without expressing wickedness themselves? In other words, if I refer to Chael Sonnen as an uppercase asshole, what then does that relegate me to but an uppercase asshole for having acted in a manner I'd accused Chael Sonnen of. You can't cry abuse while slapping someone who's never slapped you personally lest to relegate yourself an abuser. So, I defended until the cows finally came to roost at which point I, too, saw Ronda's actions as a motive for separation. The turn she refers to was the result of a process she had been forging over time via her own persona, cockiness, arrogance and egotism. In fact, she became so egotistical that she failed, and still fails, to see her own arrogance. Hence, "Pigs don't know pigs stink."

    Chael shares FOR you.

For the last 10 years he's been saying "share with you". He recently changed it to be grammatically correct for the medium.
Sorry, man. You thought you were pretty observant and all. My bad.

Her loss to Amanda Nunez was telling. She could have passed the torched but instead left before even given respect to the champ. Nunez gave a huge shout out to the entire division and talked about them more than herself.

From a technical standpoint, Amanda and Holly were both winnable fights for her. Nunes ended up being submitted by Julianna Pena and Holly ended up being submitted by Miesha Tate.
Ronda just couldn't accept that 1) someone could possibly be better than her in any aspect of MMA, 2) that maybe her tactics weren't perfect and she should incorporate new techniques (double and single leg takedowns), and 3) she has to be winning every minute of every fight. And all of that is because of spoiled brat mentality and ego. Oh, and bad coaching that fed into her delusions.

Ronda Rousey is like the female Royce Gracie. Nobody knew how to handle her grappling and had some strikes but eventually, the MMA game passed her by. She inspired female MMA like Royce inspired male MMA.

And they can be both very bad loosers (depending on which Gracie we are talking about).
