This is MMA, and she had a weak, ill informed gameplan, with a con artist for a head coach in Edmund, and she got duped into his scheme - the idea that she could stand toe to toe with striking specialists and out-muscle them. She needs to go to another gym and start from SCRATCH. She's got basically a very wide open empty arsenal as an MMA fighter...has she ever done anything other then punch and knee pads in terms of strikes? Why don't we see her in Karate classes and Taekwondo class and Muay Thai classes, so many different stances, with more defense, or fighting more long. With her build she could throw some NASTY kicks at any level, and yet she was never trained to do so. She needs to figure out her retirement soon, or try and come back soon against a lower ranked fighter and absolutely just armbar the shit out of them or she will be retired in the minds of the people within the next few months... And I hate to say it because by all accounts the dude is a douchbag, but Bang Ludwig might be who she needs.

i remember her trying to push holly off balance and holly actually pushed back and ronda looked genuinely surprised by her strength and by holly not backing down and was furious because her attempt to punk holly backfired. holly showed her strength in the fight by stuffing one of rhonda throws and actually picking ronda up off of her feet
I went back and looked at Ronda's past victories and she charges and dominates. She doesn't just try to go toe to toe like she did with Amanda. Ronda is a Bull and I just didn's see that here. It's like she lost the Eye of the Tiger man.

I just watched the fight and came across this video. Ronda was not in the right head space. She had terrible strategy. But the mental part of it fucked her over. Even though the fight was only 40 seconds, you could just tell she was only there physically.

I just watched the fight and came across this video. Ronda was not in the right head space. She had terrible strategy. But the mental part of it fucked her over. Even though the fight was only 40 seconds, you could just tell she was only there physically.
