I loved this game. Better than any other football manager game for me. So immersive. I would love a modern version of this game on anything from a game console to a tablet form.
if somebody told me how many hours of my life i spent playing lma manager on ps and then lma manager 2005 on ps2, i'd probably facepalm for the rest of my days in disbelief. if i had a time machine, i'd get in the de lorean and tell my younger self never to get interested in footie. there was no point in playing it after a while anyway and quite often i resorted to selling off some of my best players just to make the game more of a challenge. there are some life lessons to be learn't it has to be said. once took a dead in the water napoli on the brink of serie c extinction on lma manager 2005 to 6 times champions league winners in a row. 2015-16 napoli serie a p38 w38 d0 l0 f133 a17 pts114. no cheats, no codes. then i got bored. tried football manager 2010, same thing, although much harder, in fact i had to take the real madrid offer after failing to win the champions league with ac milan on that game, then it became too easy again and i took the nottingham forest job. took them up into the premier league in my first season. then demanded more cash for transfers and the sacked they most successful manager who has ever lived. i was above sir alex ferguson when they sacked me. i tried football manager 2015 recently but turned it off after 2 pre season friendlies...no more lessons to be learned.
I love this game I still play this today loads better then Football Manager this is the real business and yeah am a Leeds fan brings back memories we had such top players at the time👌⚽
