I get cheap dryer sheets from the dollar store and just leave them in the book for the duration of the time I have it. Sometimes I use a few per book, but always at least one.
Rachel, I love your spontaneity- watching you is most enjoyable - you don’t sound shy at all, you sound like a confident experienced teacher. The way you have put these papers together is brilliant. Thank you so very much.❤️🌷
I put a box of baking soda in a paper bag and placed my musty smelling papers and books and close the bag and let it sit for awhile and the smell went away. Our baking soda boxes has filter paper on one side to use the box in the refrigerator. I use it for smelly books and paper.
Hi Rachel. Hope you're well. I know what you mean about being shy and turning purple eggplanty. I'm very shy, introverted and reserved too. And blushing at age of 50 isn't cute lol. I'm so grateful to have found Junk Journaling as a hobby so I can do it in comfort of my own home. Love these papers and your work.
Rachel, I love listening to you!! I watch your videos every day! You make me smile & brighten my day. Thank you! Have a fun tour with your ladies. I'm dreaming of visiting your area, too! ❤️
I’ve tried many things with smelly vintage papers. Putting them out in the sun seemed to work but as soon as they came back in the house and got to regular normal temperature the smell came back. I put them in the freezer, didn’t work, I’ve tried baking soda, didn’t work. The closest thing I’ve come is the charcoal bags that you hang in your closet, I’m not sure exactly what they’re for but it’s a cloth bag with charcoal, activated charcoal I believe, that’s better but I’ve had some papers sealed in a bag with that bag of charcoal for probably a year and they’re much better but they still smell.
I want to be one of "your ladies" looking for treasures, but I consoled myself with a purchase of one of your paper bundles from Etsy. 😂 Have a fabulous time with your ladies!
I didn't think of doing this with my painted sheets of paper. I'm hoarding some of them so now I know I will use some in the journals I sell but some I'll keep for myself. I've got one of those nice corner punches now. I haven't used it properly yet on a good tag but I have printed out some lovely digitals today so I am going to have a busy week ahead. I just received my gelli plate so I'm going to have a fun week.
rachel i love your gelli prints! it's so nice to see you working with them. have a wonderful tour with your ladies no matter the weather. thanks for making us this video> take good care, appreciatively, linda from california
Have a fantastic tour with your ladies! We are talking about visiting Italy, our friends recently returned with such fondness of Italy. Loving your new random ephemera making!!

Very inspiring results. I don’t always know how to use my stock of gel print paper. Merci Rachel.😊 By the way, did I you noticed that Wendy wouldn’t mind being more often challenged by you…😉
Hoping we get some vids of you on tour with your ladies and Mama in law. GLUE nozzle tip, take the top off, run the hot water into it, and push the pin throw from the inside! Works a treat.😊

I have a pet odor candle at home. It really cleans the air in my house. I wonder if putting it in a room with the book would help.
🌼💝🌼
Good day. I’ll be happy to watch you play with your new set. Lovely and different. Let’s go.
💗
when was this trip arranged? would have loved to join. Pls let me know if you do it again. Hope you have a great time and that everyone finds great stuff. Warmest,
It was organised early last year! I don't think I'll do it again but if you come to Italy I am happy to give you some places to go. 🤩
It’s so nice to know that I am not the only one who loses files. It is so frustrating.😢
Very inspiring results. I don’t always know how to use my stock of gel print paper. Merci Rachel.😊 By the way, did I you noticed that Wendy wouldn’t mind being more often challenged by you…😉
Did Wendy say that? Haha😂
Thank you so much!
Yes, it is eggplant in the U.S.
Hello Rachel your project today is beautiful! May I ask where did you get your edge punchers?
I bought them on Amazon. Thank you so much!
Oh Raquelita I love these. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much!
Where did the name Roxy come from?😊
I believe it came from her last name which is Roxburgh.
From our last name, my sister is also called Roxy when playing sport.
Hoping we get some vids of you on tour with your ladies and Mama in law. GLUE nozzle tip, take the top off, run the hot water into it, and push the pin throw from the inside! Works a treat.😊
