Being good with putting together words and visuals wasn’t giving me what I needed. I also watch Jerry Flowers and love that he brings EVERYTHING back to a scripture that I can personally reference, but still is very relatable and provides real life examples!

Wow, I stopped watching transformation church as God was revealing something to me but I very much started in the relationship goals series as well. I watch Dr. Myles Monroe and I love his teachings. His books are also so powerful and would recommend!
I used to be stressed that I wasn’t reading enough and I spent more time planning to read than reading. Yeah…. so now I read in increments like 1 pg here or .5 pages here or .25 pgs there. Spread reading throughout the week. Much better. Totaling 3 pgs minimum a day by the grace of God. ofc be led by the Lord of how much you need to read.

I used to feel bad because I have a lot of responsibilities during the day and it seemed like reading the Bible wasn’t taking up as much of my days as I would like. But then again nothing that I’m supposed to do ever does. So I stop putting pressure on myself.

Spot one with everything said. The Perry’s, Mike Winger are my go to for more in depth study of the scriptures and defending my faith. And I attend Forward City and the sermons are Bible focused and I still get the community that I need being a Christian.

I found Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque on RUclips. The pastor is skip heitzig and he does a Bible series called expound where he breaks down every verse. It really helps me learn the Bible because I get bored reading it to.
Check out the United House of Prayer for all people. Not only are there plenty of locations all over the US, but I'm sure the band music will help with engaging you, especially during sermons.
One thing I’ve learned is for me it’s more beneficial to read a passage of the Bible and meditate on it in quiet time vs just reading a few chapters to get it over with. Each word of the Bible has value and we don’t have to rush through it

Right it has to be God focused ❤ churches aren't talking about being the temple of God, warfare, healing , curses, lifestyle (I used to be lukewarm) just grace and money and comfort ❤ but God loves us to correct too! I break down the temple body soul and spirit, lamp (holy spirit) and so much more how the priesthood served then and now as the living sacrifice though Christ, Days of Noah, end times, promises, fallen angels etc the Bible is juicy!!!!

If you read the begets I guess so 😉. Eitherway, it is good to be who you are, and understand the Bible the way you do. Pictures help. Also, audio Bibles help with the reading where you can hear what is read. You can stop certain activities that don't belong in your life, even if those are good activities. That particular activity may not be the one for you.

In your prayer time, Ask God for wisdom and to understand the scriptures the way God intended His word to be understood before you start reading the Bible. Try different versions of the Bible. I started reading in NIV as I got more advanced I read out of KJV. Today, I cross reference to expand my knowledge and understanding. I am currently reading out of the NLT version and cross reference often. There are also Bible plans on the Bible App that can help you. There are also some devotional that can help you. I agree with the performance and what’s going on in some of these mainstream churches. I stopped attended large churches a few years ago. It’s unfortunate that we can’t trust some Spiritual leaders. I knew that I still needed a relationship with the Father so I started reading the Bible for myself. My dad is also a Bible scholar so I would listen to him guide me through scriptures. He taught me how to pray too. Years later, my faith has evolved tremendously. Anyway… I can talk about this all day 😊 I love your content young lady and you’re doing a great job.
