Sorry - looks much less sporty than the B9/9.5 generation sportback. This new one looks too tall and chunky and the sportback shape is not as sloping/sleek and more upright/sedan like 👎. Time to grab a 2025 RS5 Sportback before they are gone!
Very nice looking, even tho the estate is more attractive in my opinion. The exhaust is very muted, almost can't figure out what configuration the engine is, but I suspect is a V6, the 2.9 L from the rs4/5 with around 400hp. But it could also come with a highly tuned 2.0 tfsi, but I doubt it.
2.9L it the twin turbo for the rs4 rs5, the 3.0 single turbo tfsi is in the s4 s5, probably muted due to petrol particulate filters, though these can always be deleted😉
As far a I know, new (B10) A4 will be all-electric. So ICE A4 will continue as A5. I think they've merged the designs a bit. A5 had a very characteristic curve above its rear wheels which seems to be gone. However, it still is a very clean design.
I can't believe there will be no more coupes in Audi's lineup at all. Atleast petrol coupes. But who knows what they have planned in store for the e-tron lineup.
Nope, A4/S4/RS4 are dead for now. Audi is changing their naming strategy. Even numbered cars will be their EVs and odd numbered cars will be their ICEs
Walter DaSilva hit the nail on the head with his designs and lines, he was even awarded as one of the most beautiful cars in the world in those years of the first A5 Sportback, his beltline, etc...This new prototype doesn't say anything, it's not that beautiful even when camouflaged, it's lost a lot...it looks like a long A4, the saga of the first A5 was beautiful...let's see when they remove the camouflage... 🤔

Pretty sure its the 2.9 v6tt. The rs5 should use the same exact engine but with hybrid stuff and make maybe even 600hp. Should be a good car.
