    The flower petal marking on the forehead seems similar to the "bindi" in India. Maybe there was an Indian influence, or maybe it's just a coincidence.
    And the flat-chested style for women seems similar to the "flappers" during the Roaring Twenties in America. But that really must be just a coincidence.

      It did not originate from India, it was just a decoration. Legend says a princess fell asleep in a plum blossom orchard, and when she woke up it was stuck to her head for three days. However, all the palace workers thought it very beautiful, so the trend began.

      Not everything has to be influenced by India. Others have their own heritage and culture. Kindly respect that.

      ​@orphicprince nobody is denying that, and nobody said everything originated from India, but China was influenced by India in some ways especially through the spread of Buddhism, which definitely originated from India
