Turn the oil pump down and get good 2stroke oil and it will almost completely stop that blue smoke and live. Fullbore was the name of the best oil when I raced those RDs. Had a 1973 RD 250 that ran 2:20s and 114 trap speed. Keeping the front wheel on the ground was the hardest challenge of all but man that was some serious fun! I was a teenager and ignorant as hell! At 68 I wouldn’t get on anything that wild now. The oil I was talking about would eliminate most all piston slap and the engine runs much quieter and smoother.
Understand your concern but here people also add 2T oil to petrol do that makes it have more smoke as two stroke can seize easily if there was a sudden malfunction in the oil pump
I Always add 2T oil in oil tank ....10 ml per litre....but kept oil pump slightly richer than factory setting....basically to make sure that i hv a value of about 28--33ml per litre .... 2t oil helps in preventing tank rust also....🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Owned a '74 RD350 (new). Best motorcycle I ever owned. I always ran Yamalube (recommended) through the factory Autolube system with very little smoke and no buildup on the plugs. Traded it eventually for a bigger bike but never had as much fun as riding that RD.
L.C. means liquid cooled if I'm not mistaken, that is always a possibility but I had an air cooled 125 and then the 250 but my 350 was LC and so was my YPVS.. never ever had the RD 400 air cooled but they were savage for the time.
From the heavy exhaust smoke,it looks like more than the specified quantity of 2T oil is injected or pre mixed with petrol.This is disastrous for engine life because oil burning produces more heat and carbon which will wear/ ruin the engine fastly.
