Thank you so much sir!!
what sign to put if my declination and latitude and my amplitude now is both north should i still add 90?
Great video sir

At the time of observation what should be the sun position? Upper limb on visible horizon or half or lower limb on visible horizon?
Lower limb half a diameter above the visible horizon.
how could determine if the sun is rising or setting when their is no time and date given however thr declination is fix
There should be some hint given, for example, the sun's bearing was east which implies it is rising.
sir can u help me solve this
On December 3, 2010, in position Lat 30'45'S and Long 160 15 E the sun Set bearing was 250 by compass, variation was 14'E and true bearing of 255.7 and vessel is on southerly direction.
Given:
LMT Sunrise @ 25'S on 3-18h 10mins
LMT Sunrise @30'S on 03rd-18h 17min
LMT Sunrise 35'S on 034-18h 24min
Latitude correction +Imin
Declination 12" 15'S
d correction 0.9-10.6
Find the amplitude of the sun, Time of UT sunrise and deviation
Great information sir but I am confused about true cousre S 43.8 E if we go for true course 180-43.8 is 137.8 but in this question is 133.8 please tell me we will do 90+43.8 is 133.8 ?
Ali, here we are going from east to South, NOT south to East. if you go from east (90 degrees) to South (180 degrees), then you will add 43.8 to 90. If we were going from South to East, then it will be 180 - 43.8. Hope its clear now:)
@@SteeringMariners Great sir Thanks you so much well understood

Sir in this question bearing of sun is taken by gyro compass or magnetic compass?
Magnetic compass.
@@SteeringMariners thanx sir
@@SteeringMarinerssir if we will take the bearing using gyro then we have to calculate in same way?
@@Tusharvlogs63 NO, Gyro gives you true bearing and magnetic compass gives you compass bearing.
@@SteeringMariners thank you very much sir.
