I'm thinking about buying a viewer on eBay simply for pleasure and enjoyment. LIKE A BIG KINDLE. That doesn't have the internet, so no RUclips to get distracted by, but I don't have to bend my neck to look at it.
So, if I don't care about the longevity of the files beyond my lifetime, am I able to be a little more lax with any of these rules? Could I store them on my bookshelf next to my other books?

Hi there, how you store your film is up to you - the recommendations here are for long-term storage and to keep the film in as good condition as possible. If your microfilm is OK how you store it, then that works!
