This video shows how to control the movement of two linear actuators using a PicoBoo Plus controller. Extensions and retraction of both actuators can be controlled easily and no computer programming is required!

I am looking for what mechanistic application makes the most sense for a platform lift in a van build. What size actuators and can all 4 of them be simultaneously lifting using the same controller? Great demonstration here for the newbees. Thanks!

Hi your teaching Methods step by step and without confision or without skipping any steps...... Really great
Here programming is so easy it's just like that.... ur taking data from end part....
What is the Controller name ur used
If I want to use it in hydraulic single cylinder and deapth control should be very high accuracy (0.02mm) and Repeatability level I want same what to do
I want to learn more..... For that what to do?
I am new in this hydraulic or pneumatic field
    Please guide me
    Thanks Prakash or Naveen Prakash

Can I extend both the actuators at the same time on single battery of 12 v or do I need a bigger battery???

@FrightProps Wow, complete, Excellent and informative videos man. Would love to get your thoughts for my custom vehicle. I have a Lamborghini countach show car that I would love to replace my hood, trunk and door struts to controlled linear actuactors . Any suggestions on whether to use actuators or pneumatic cylinders? Thanks ahead of time and for the inspiration. Looking forward to tackling this project.

Thank you for the wonderful video. Do you know if they make an automatic switch which make the linear actuator will automatic go in/out continuous until I kill the power?

What would be the best controller and remote for a homemade snow plow out of actuators? Say 3 actuators: 1 for up/down (Only up requires force, gravity down is fine). Then 2 actuators for side/side. One on each side for "push/pull" effect.
The side/side angle actuators would need to work in opposite of each other (one goes in while the other goes out). Would the peekaboo work? I suspect 500-1000lb actuators should accomplish the desired effect to give an idea of output amounts for the controller. Thanks and nice video!!

    Question?
    But first... this is cool!!!
Ok. So I've been searching everywhere for a week and here I am on your video.
So I have 4 very small linear actuators in my car.
I'm looking for a way to keep the actuators closed until I press my vehicle brakes.
When I press on my brakes in my car I want the actuators to open. I have found a 12v + wire on my brakes lights to use as a trigger.
So when my foot goes off the brakes I want the actuators to close again.
I've been trying to get this done using 5 pin relays but I can't figure it out.
I'm going to check your website now and I'm hoping to see that your relays are 12volt vehicle (AC?) compatible.
I would really appreciate any help/guidance with accomplishing this 🙏🏽. Please and thank you.

If you put for 4 of them in a cross position and use a joystick controller with a trigger when you push the joystick for it will go slow or fast and rotated to the left or right while the front one is still out words and pull my joystick back and doing the same way left or right and when you squeeze on the trigger when you have sent to the side will slowly increase and decrease by pulling of the trigger can you program a box to do that if you can like see it on a video and make your box and everything waterproof

I have 7 sliding dog kennel doors, each door slides up approx 16 inches to let the dog out.. I need to be able to two do two things .. brings all 7 doors up and down at the same time.. and choose which door or doors i want to open.. using actuators. is this possible.. if you could sell me what i need I would be happy to purchase it..thanks Floyd

you mentioned about a trigger. If I use a push button, does the picoboo perform each step as I press each time, or does it goes through all four steps when I press the trigger once. Also, can I program it to go two step first when press the trigger once, then two steps close when pressing the trigger again.

I want a set up like this but the only difference would be I want to switches, one to trigger the ALs outward, 1 by 1, then the reverse with the last AL that went out to return inwards first. Can this be done ?

im trying to make an animatronic arm as my first animatronic part. My question is, can i use the pikaboo plus for making regular movement of an arm? i will be using servos with the arm to turn it but the actuators will be used for the bending of the arm.

PiciVolt can only do one, and it can only slow them down, not make them faster. For fast movements we would suggest using pneumatic.

Seems like a lot of overkill / cost for such a simple animatronic movement. This can easily be done with a single motor, a few moving rods, and a much cheaper single function prop controller.
