    This is very helpful...makes more sense to me now how you can manage so many pins a week. The connection to Tailwind seems essential.

    Just a thought...if your interval is 7 days, the pin repeats the same day for every week. If you set the interval for 8 days the pin appears on different days of the week, so will reach pinners that don't visit on the original pin day.

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  9 месяцев назад

      Actually, that doesn't matter. It doesn't always land on exactly every 7 days b/c there are many times where the next 7th day is already full so it automatically moves it to the next available slot.

    Thank for this tutorial! When you repin a pin do you change it in anyway first? And what’s a good guideline for time before repinning? A month? Do you set it for an interval again? So many questions😬

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  11 месяцев назад +1

      No, I don't change it. I usually set it for a 7 day interval. But that can change depending on the content. I'll put it back in rotation after a couple months if it's an evergreen pin.

    Thanks for sharing this! A couple questions- 1.) when you schedule an existing pin from one of your boards to fill slots- do you interval pin that as well (even though it has been interval pinned in the past)? Or just add it to one board to fill a slot? 2.) After you make the 2 initial pins for a piece of content, do you never make new pins for it? You just reshare the existing pins from there on out? That seems like a big change. 3.) Video pins: are you even using them regularly? And do you repeat pin those? Thanks for answering questions, it is really appreciated. :)

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  8 месяцев назад +3

      1. Yes I interval an existing pin as long as there are plenty of other pins on that board since the last time you pinned this pin to that board.
      2. We make new pins for an existing piece of content only for our top performing content. Very rare. When we do make news pins it's maybe once a year if that. It's not actually a change. Pinterest came out with this very confusing conversation back in 2020 that made everyone think they could never share their pins more than once. So, suddenly people started making 50 pins per piece of content and never pinned a pin more than once. That's not actually what Pinterest was saying and they had to backtrack a bit on their words.
      3. Yes, we share video pins. I tend to only pin it once to one board. But you can pin it to other relevant boards if you'd like. It's just not as seamless with scheduling. It also just depends on your audience and what resonates with them most.

    This is so helpful!! I do have a question, you say you schedule a pin to multiple relevant boards at 7 day intervals. So you are saying you are adding that same pin image to multiple boards? There has been a lot of conflicting information going around saying that we should never repin the same image and to always add a new image when pinning a url to a different board. Can you clarify?

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  3 месяца назад

      Yeah, we disagree with that a bit. We've seen pins get a jump in impressions with pinning the same pin again. But I would definitely include new content, new pins, and new pins for your top content on Pinterest.

  • @ReinventedDelaware

    I would love to know about pinning others content and my own. I hear some experts say that it should be 80/20 Eighty percent of others content and 20% of my own. I would love a video about that!

      @SimplePinMedia  11 месяцев назад +2

      That's old advice. You can pin 100% of your own content. Unless you *want to pin other's content.

    I have two questions:
    1)There is scheduling option in Pinterest, then why should Tailwind be used. Any advantage Tailwind has over Pinterest in scheduling?
    2) Can we tag products on Tailwind while scheduling?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @SimplePinMedia

      If you're on a budget Pinterest scheduling is just fine. With TW you can schedule out your Pins much farther, interval them so that one pin goes to multiple relevant boards spaced out, easily choose boards from your own curated board lists...
      No, you can't tag products on your pins through TW.

    I am trying to understand pin and board relation. One pin is attached to only one board. Your soft creates several pins (same image) with the only difference is the board name, did I understand correctly?

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  6 месяцев назад

      I'm not sure I understand your question for sure. Tailwind doesn't "create" pins when scheduling. It's just taking the pin you uploaded with its title, description, URL and pinning it to the boards you tell it to pin to and when.

      @@SimplePinMedia does Tailwind do more than I can do directly in Pinterest? Bc in Pinterest I can do only one board per pin. Or the whole idea is just to change board for the same pin? I watched several videos about boards and no one explained so far

  • @lukrezialaval2406
    @lukrezialaval2406 2 месяца назад

    Thank you for the insight, it is very helpful.
    6:20 So if I understand that correctly, you use the same pin, with the same URL, and post it once on one board, after 7 days, on another board, wait another 7 days, etc.?
    Also, do I have to repinn my already pinned pins (a lot of pin^^) to have success? Or can I just focus on my new products if I have enough content to constantly pin through the month, and only repinn for seasonal content?
    Thanks a lot in advance. Pinterest is still very confusing, but you shine some light on the path before me.

    I thought Pinterest didn’t like us repinning our content and preferred new pin images instead? This is good to hear because I’m making like 14 different images a week.
    Also, it’s ok to pin to the same url twice in a week, like you did in this video? How many different URL’s should we be pinning to in a week if we’re pinning 10x a day

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  11 месяцев назад +1

      Nah that was miscommunicated back in 2020. You can repin the same Pin. We only create 2 Pin images per podcast/blog post.
      Yes, it's ok to pin same URL in same week. I would try to make it a different URL per Pin per day for the most part. But I do pin the same URL in one day if I have a couple of new Pins to publish, as you see in the video. There's no official number to follow. Just try to think of it as if you want a diversity of content going out to your boards every day.

    Just curious how much your Pinterest services are? Just started and I have a lot of ideas, but don't know if I'm on the right track. Sort of on a tight budget at the moment but would like to know how much your services are for future reference! Nevermind. Did a bit more digging and saw that it starts at around 3 grand! Holy cow. Mostly however it does change here and there based on how much content they have, how often they create content, and the industry they're in (e.g. e-commerce vs. lifestyle blogger)

      The only time Pinterest sees a new Pin from you is the very first time you pin it no matter if it's published on Pinterest directly or through a scheduler. It's ok to continue to pin it to other boards. It doesn't have to be a new pin every time.

    Hi Tabby! Great video!!!! Super helpful! Hey, I create a TON of content, in the form of products in an online store in an online marketplace. If I manage my production well, I'll be pinning 25 pins per day directly from the product page. I then have 10 slots left to schedule pins. I will definitely fill those out, but I wondered, does it make sense to upgrade, do you think, so I can pin more, particularly leading into the Christmas season?

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hey Anastasia! Wow you have a LOT of products to put out there! I think 35 pins/day is sufficient. We only pin up to 30/day even for our clients with lots of content. Unless you're feeling strongly about trying something new, I would just keep with the 35/day.
