Very nice video made of the route in Ladakh - my favourite place anywhere on earth. Keep it up. You won't believe it that I saw the same two wild asses roaming the Morey plains on my trip overthere this August.
Thank you for creating this film, much appreciated. I am planning on riding this route in 2022 so it's very useful to see some of the detail and how the weather is in July.
Congratulations both of you.. few queries I have . First is how return journey is made by cycle or some other mode. What all the precautions needed to take care of and which is best time to go to Leh. I am planning for Manali to Leh cycling in next year
Thanks! We took a flight from Leh to Delhi. What kind of precautions do you want to know about? We never rode at night because the visibility is poor. Always watch out for AMS at these altitudes. And stay hydrated. BEst time to go is June to September - all passes are open at these times. July & August you will encounter rain like we did. All the best for your trip!
awesome guys .i am planning to do it myself . can you let me know how much cycling practice did u do before this sdventure. and what all did u carry along with u?
Karan practised for a bit over 6 months with weight on his cycle. I decided to go 3 days before the trip started. So no training but I would not recommend it. Do Train! It helps!!
must have been lovely then... the mondials are bombproof (700x50c)... am still using the same pair and am yet to have a puncture. a bit heavy for city commuting though!
The mountains do not care whether you have a perspective called “horrible” This word has been used thrice in the video. You are taking on one of the most challenging trips and complaining about facilities available in the most remote place in the country! That is not good.
Beautiful video, but you guys are a bit superficial. Nature is not horrible nor dissapointing, be a bit more respectful! Life is not supposed to look nice or be easy, it is about conquering yourself and become one with nature.
You're taking it the wrong way! We wouldn't be doing it if we didn't appreciate nature. It was a bit overwhelming at the time and the roads were quite horrible - nothing to do with nature.
Adventurous > Yes !! Your smiles show your Strength !!

Thanks. We didn't feel like cycling.
Nice video. Which month is it??
Inspiring video.
Please let me know the procedure for carrying your bike from Leh and how much that costs.
We took a bus to Manali - that was Rs. 500 per cycle and on the flight from Leh to Delhi we paid Rs. 1000 per cycle.

Hi,
Is it possible to ride those areas with a hybrid bike? And also why you don't use a stand to hold the cycle?
That looked pretty dangerous
How long does it took ?
Took us 10 days.
Which cycle brand was yours
We used Trek and Surly.
Khud se cycling trip plan kro to kya cost pdti h Manali to Ladakh tk ki please guide
❤️
Beautiful video, good you !! i rode an Enfield bullet on that route in 1991. How were the Marathon Mondials? 700 x 50c?
must have been lovely then... the mondials are bombproof (700x50c)... am still using the same pair and am yet to have a puncture. a bit heavy for city commuting though!
Which cycle you used during this trip??
surly ogre and trek 4300
what's price of surly😍 ?? please tell.
in which month you went ?
July
what is the rent for this cycles please tell me.
Probably the best option to buy one!
Karan owns the Surly Ogre and I had borrowed the Trek 4300 from someone so we didn't pay any rent.
fit couple :)
cycle model no
Surly Ogre and Trek 4300
