Hey, guys. You totally amaze me as always. You're such a wonderful couple together. Other than Karen Allen there's nobody in Rachel's class As being the hardest working wife on RUclips. You are Blessed by each other and you both Bless us. Thank you so much and may God continue to Bless you both! Chip
Looks like Rachel could take a coffee break during the return cycle of that cylinder. Still gets the job done though. We always have a big time when my wife and kids help with processing. Great video.
Thank you and yes that thing was sloooooow! We made it twice as fast with a few upgrades and Blue will soon be headed to a new home. I am going to bring Blue down to one of my subscribers to replace his box store splitter. It will all be documented in a future episode. Love it when the family chips in!
Thanks Tony. I hope Chris doesn’t mind me stealing his title. I couldn’t not do it lol. Definitely makes working more fun with someone else. Same as hunting I love hunting but love it more with others.
I love Ash , good stuff . Up in the snow belt , this is the go to hard wood should you run out and need to down some green and expect to be able to burn it .
When I sell someone a firewood processor I let them know that they will get their own wood by "accident". The stuff that just aint pretty enough to sell goes to the wood stove or fire pit at home. We actually cook with it. We never buy charcoal. Great channel by a great couple. Cheers and blessings from Central Kentucky.
Kenneth, I started with a maul, then bought a Husky 35 ton splitter. Old Blue was my first upgrade from the Huskee and then I improved it by making a few modifications. I definitely preferred the Husky over the Maul, and I preferred d Blue over the Husky. I ran my buddies Wolfe Ridge Pro 28C in a few videos and that was definitely an upgrade over the pre modified Old Blue. As far as the Wolfe Ridge, the Eastonmade, and the All Wood splitters I plan on doing head to head comparison videos coming soon. I will say I have not dealt directly with Chris Wolfe, but I have dealt with Bobby from All Wood and Andrew from Eastonmade and they are both great guys in my opinion from my experience with them.
Oh it did. Check out our later videos. I got that one down to a 12 second cycle time and now run an All Wood with a close to 4 second cycle time and an Eastonmade Axis.
Yes, they are Larry, luckily, I have only had one on me so far this year and it was a dog tick which to my understanding do not carry limes disease. I hate ticks!
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors after I replied to your video I realized it was a few months old. I wonder why it showed up in my Facebook notifications like it was new content?
Thank you Chris. One of these days I’d like to be able to put out videos at your pace. I know the work that goes into it and I’d have to hand you the Hard Working Man title. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your channel.
Instead of a new splitter I'd look at spending a few hundred dollars on upgrading the hydraulics and potentially the motor on that 1. The mechanical side of that splitter looks first rate and some extra gallons per minute would give you a real nice splitter. Yoga pants and tight tees appear to the standard clothing for the better halves based on Back 40, Dude Ranch etc.
Thanks, I thought about upgrading the components but I am some what impulsive and already placed a non refundable deposit on my new unit. It is going to be sweet but my current splitter could definitely be turned into a sweet splitter too.
