  • Today we're going to be installing some fresh new smoked cobra headlights on Jesse's 1994 Mustang GT. As well as some major quality of life improvements by changing out the door locks, power lock actuators, and fixing the power windows!

Absolute common fail point on any 1994-2004 mustang. The doornlock actuators and window motors die. So common that lmr (iirc) sells a kit containing everything to do both doors at the same time.

You are totally correct we actually got the full kit of these things from LMR. Its surprising to see that the newer Fords seem to use completely compatible motors and actuators. Although the switches are generally the first failure point and much cheaper and easier to fix. Honestly when you have broken basic features like this it is immensely satisfying to fix them, the car feels "whole" again afterwards.

Nice! They really look great when they are shined up stick with it really under appreciated cars with a ton of potential. My favorite recipe here is a polisher (cant make it worse right!?) polishing compound, some new headlights, maybe a Mach 1 chin spoiler and wheels. All of a sudden that old SN95 goes from a junker to getting compliments haha!

@PowershiftFactory tlc all it takes for sure.. this white paint started peeling real bad when it got colder 😂.. but this summer it'll get painted with a new converter I've already replaced everything but the shortblock itself and transmission wise i think it's good just the torque converter is slipping and the ECU is pulling power because of it I believe.. but I had a shift pack code so it's getting two new shift packs torque clutch solenoid and new converter 😂
