@@itzoryx well, the ender Pearl is travelling for as long as it can, if you placed the machine it would go farther, this cannon gives the enderpearl multiple gts of travel, and entity's start dipping after 1 game tick (which is 0.05 seconds) so you could fire a peice of tnt through a 1x1 hole from 100 blocks away, but that's only for 1gt, the next gt (2nd gt of travel) it will no longer go through a 1x1, if you want more of an explanation u can ask for my discord lol

And actually there is a theoretical limit to speed in mc that is how fast you can go without hitting an invisible barrier made of unloaded chunks. Something like a bit less than 100 chunks/tick. Chunk loaders included... so the epearl isnt FTL anyway...
Ok bear with me: The mechanism takes about 15 seconds to fire. The pearl moves at 18,000 blocks per second. Max range before server crash is 2,100,000 blocks. Thats 116.66 seconds for the pearl travel. 30 divided by 2.1 is 14.2, you you would have to use 14 cannons (and push your luck a little) to reach the world border from 0,0 in the nether. So 116.66 times 14.2 equals 1,656 seconds for total pearl travel time, and 15 times 4 is obviously 60. So a perfect run would yield a travel time of 1,716 seconds, or 28.6 minutes. If you want to play it safe and use 15 cannons, then the pearl travel time wont change, as the pearl is traveling the same distance at the same speed. You just add another 15 seconds onto your time so its 1,731 seconds or 28.8 minutes. *TO THE WORLD BORDER.*

Actually light is a LOT faster than this. That pearl took more than 20 seconds to go 88,000 blocks = 88km The speed of light is 299,792,458m/s which means that in 20s a photon ("light particle") would travel 6,000,000km So 88km in 20s is very, very far away from the speed of light.

Felo if it’s a plug-in border it will just tp you back to the edge where the pearl entered. If it’s a vanilla border either you will die instantly or just not be able to place blocks. I also think you need to load all the chunks otherwise the pearl will get stuck

But the travelling speed of the pearl isn't faster than light, so technically to go from point A to point B you're still slower than light

So now you need a version that can select from all 4 directions and have the number of TNT variable to change launch distance. Or even change the slime pusher timings so the initial launch trajectory can be changed to fine tune distances :). This is truly insane, well done.

@@ovencake523 Yeah, 2b2t has thousands of chunks loaded at the same time. Adding a couple thousand more is gonna get you priority banned for lag machines (A priority ban is where your Minecraft account is blacklisted from Hause's 2b2t store and you can no longer buy priority queue)

@@mihirpatil8843 maybe, cuz if you don't charge a bow completely the dmg is lower same goes for dispenser shooting arrows. Also another proof is crossbow deal more damage than bows and arrows shot from a crossbow travel faster.

they don't have to be good at redstone just know things like slime blocks and moderate redstone circuits and a lot of ender pearl mechanics and more math

Watched this video twice today and "WOW" just "WOOOOOOOOOOW" Amazing innovation guys! The only thing we need to make sure, is that no big RUclipsr's post videos on this, otherwise... Mojang might change enderpearl behaviour. You never know, they seem really intent on ruining superfast transport methods...
Nooticus luck is on our side on this one. All things in this machine are all within normal game mechanics. Some of them are a bit edge case but still within normal mechanics.

"Within normal game mechanics" hasn't stopped Mojang before. Fish farms are also entirely within normal game mechanics, but Mojang has been trying to get rid of them by messing up timings and stuff for a while now.
