- Fuji Shibazakura Festival 2024 🗻🌸 | 富士芝桜まつり
The Fuji Shibazakura Festival (富士芝桜まつり) is one of the best events across the country to see shibazakura (pink moss or phlox moss in English).
Approximately 800,000 shibazakura stalks of five varieties are on display, producing beautiful fields of pink, white and purple in different shades.
It is a very popular place for having Mount Fuji as a beautiful backdrop that makes the landscape even more incredible. There are several stalls at the festival, which sell everything from shibazakura-themed souvenirs, food and local products.

A probabilidade é de estar cheio em dia ensolarado, ainda mais no feriado. E também se não estiver pleno sol, dificilmente da para ver o Monte Fuji! O horário do pico do movimento de pessoas é entre 12h30 até umas 15h30 quando as flores ficam totalmente abertas!☺ Mas elas duram bastante tempo até hein, se vocês forem depois do feriado, pode ser que vai estar mais no pico ainda da floração!

Amazing! What time do you recommend to go?
The date of the 2024 Event has not yet been announced, but we went on April 29, 2022.
To find out if it was in full bloom, we followed the live camera indicated on the website. They periodically update the live camera according to the event!
My recommendation is to follow the live camera to decide the best date and visit on a sunny day, as it is very easy for Mount Fuji to become covered in clouds on a cloudy or partially cloudy day.
