I'm having a terrible time with this AM4 mounting system. Appreciate the video.
Your not showing how to attach on processor that was Disappointed me
Yeah, that was shitty camera angle 😅
@@Chichinjo agree but you know
Yeah I know, I will do another video, as soon as I get chance. 😄
@@Chichinjo I want to get this since my pc case ain’t too big and this will fit but lots of videos cover m22 not this one which is annoying
I will disassemble my tomorrow and record a video, expect it at Friday.
I cant find where i should plugin the cable, that makes it cool. I have a B550 GAMING X V2 (AM4 motherboard, can you maybe help find a cable extend that can plug in 4 pin?
my pump is working but its not displaying the nzxt logo or anything. Do you need the nzxt rgb controller to make it work? i tried plugging in the four pin coming off the water block into an rgb header but nothing works
where did you plug the cable with the "nzxt" logo on it? my motherboard is msi z370 gaming plus and i can't see where i can plug it
Did u find out bc I can't figure it out ?
Same here how do I connect it to show up on the nzxt cam app so I could change the RGB colors
The usb cable you get with it should plug into the ‘’cpu fan’’ header in your mobo. Usually on the top right
Será que suficiente para um R5 5600 em stock?
Abraços do Brasil
where did you connect the 2 cables coming out of the led panel. I am not able to make the led's work on mine, the pump works fine though.
One cable is extra 😅 So one cable for led you plug on mobo connector for rgb... There are multiple names for that connector, but you can find it in manual. On my mobo it's called rainbow1 for example... 👋
Hey I think we have the same mother board! I can’t seem to find where I can connect the led for the pump. I have an Msi x570 gaming edge wifi
Ok, what they didn't included in package is "cable extender" You can DM me on instagram, and I will send you an image how that looks like. 😅
hello i got problems whit my kraken 120 that i dont know where do but the led cables i got rgb and fan connector but the led is only red and purple the other one what has nzxt on isnt connected to anywhere so where should i but the cable can you send me the picture of cable extender
and where i get the cable extender
Do I need to buy a AM4 bracket for this air cooler, I see it didn't come with it and in trying to figure out if I need to buy the full bracket or does it work with the bracket I have already for my Ryzen Omen 30l prebuilt?
It should be mounted on stock am4 bracket that commes with motherboard. 😁
My builder replaced the stock cooler mount with some custom thing, i had to buy an inexpensive kit to replace the standard am4 rails
Do you think it is better to by the kraken 120 air or the nzxt T120?
Well it depends, I'am using Kraken120 and it's very good 😁 Also T120 is cool, and both of them will cool down your cpu *depends which CPU you have 👋
Can you tell me where the rgb wire goes mine won't turn on
Did you ever find the andwer? having similar issue
@@deadlycat5601 no I returned it instead. I bought a termaltake instead
In the Cam software, it says there is no NZXT device for cooling. How are you able to control the Kraken 120?
Did you find a fix ?
Where did you plug in the 4 pin connector coming off the block???? I can't find this out!!!
Did u fix ?
I have the same issue
One is leftover, I will make new video soon. 😅
What about the cable connection ??!! useless video
Does it include LGA 1700 bracket
This model includes 1700.
how yours start to rgb mine is just blue, red but i downloaded the cam but its saying it doesnt reconise it
can have some help
I controll rgb trought MSI software.
how can you remove the amd bracket on the pump if you are switching from amd to intel?
It's easy, just push it from the side. 👋
how about the temp bro?better than m22?
Well, you can always find comparations on web for different CPU's. Since I'm using it for a month now, it is very stable and cool.
❤❤❤❤❤
My rgb isnt working on mine hepp
I think I will finish the video today. Maybe you'll find out what you did wrong. 😅
How do I connect it to the nzxt cam app like where do the cables go plugged in, the 2 that are on the nzxt
One is for pump, one for RGB. You plug both on the mobo, or if you have RGB controler than RGB cable to RGB controler. For connecting it to mobo you need extender "female to female" if you want image, send me dm on ig. 😅
@@Chichinjo I just dm you on Instagram
Can you change the display screen on this to any gif you want ?
no never 😂
this Kraken 120 is compatible with "NZXT CONTROLLER HUE+ V2 ?? (or HUE 2) HELP ME PLEASE
This info is from their manual.
NZXT RGB and Fan Controller is compatible with all NZXT RGB lighting products. NZXT
RGB accessories can be mixed and matched with the restriction of up to a maximum of 40
LEDs per channel and 120 LEDs combined total for All 6 channels.
@@Chichinjo I have a "hue+". when I connected the kraken 120 it doesn't recognize it, I hope that with the "HUE 2" it can work.
You have instaled CAM software?
@@Chichinjo
Yes always. I use it to control some led strips. Kraken 120 leds turn on but turn off when CAM starts.
I think my "HUE+" is first generation. They told me that the second generation ones recognize a chip that these new devices have, but I don't know if the "HUE 2" is second generation
Can you show where you plugged in the cable
I should have done that, sorry for missing details. Find in manual of mobo, where you should plug pump and fan. Fan goes in cpufan_1 and for pump you must check "man".
@@Chichinjo I got one cable left that I think it might be for the led for the nzxt logo do I need the nzxt rgb and fan box control because when I turn on my pc the logo don't light up
There might be rgb connector on your mobo... Hit me with the model, I can search it for you. 👍
@@Chichinjo my motherboard is a msi tomahawk max b450
In the top right corner of mobo, there is connector "JRGB2" 4-pin, plug it there 🤗
You missed showing where to plug the cables???
Yes, I have figured that out while I edited the video, but there was no futage for that. Sorry 😕
Can you make a follow up video on where you plugged them in?????
Your CPU? Will it go good on i7 10700F?
Ryzen 5 5600g... Yeah, it keeps it cool. I supose yes 😁
what case is that ??
NZXT H510
It’s a good video but the worst camera angles which made watching this a waste of time for me sadly🙁
Yeah, I know, it will be better in the future, I'am expecting camera to arive. This was all recorded with smartphone on stick and rope. ❤️ Sorry for wasting your time 😕🍻
@@Chichinjo actually bro I apologize that came off a lot more negative than I wanted. The video did help me out I’m just more of a visual learner. I can’t wait to see what you cook up in the future 💯
You mounted it wrong. Despite NZXT advertising pictures, the radiator needs to be at the top of the case, or at the back. The tubes should be going "up" to the radiator. There are multiple reasons for this. You are likely to get pump noise and gurgling, the life of the parts will be cut short, and your performance will be decreased by mounting the radiator low.
Not only is it mounted improperly, but you have ruined your airflow with three exhausts in all different directions. Your only source of cool air is from the bottom of the case, and you've created a negative pressure environment that is likely to cause dust accumulation (think of it swirling about rather than exhausting). Air should be coming in from the front and bottom, and exiting top and back, causing a neutral and directional air flow.
Undrline, thank you for your comment.
Well, the instruction manual from the manufacturers is the only source that I use when building a PC, if they don't know their product, who am I to invent hot water?
Also, I'm not a heavy PC user, my PC doesn't get warm since I don't play games, I only run Premier Pro render once every 2 weeks, so 3 exhausts fans are enough, and in fact, on that way, you "prevent" dust from entering the case. Anyhow thanks for the feedback, if anyone reads this comment, remember, always read the manual for the product!
