Thats an X - Pac material, very durable but lightweight. A lot of hi - end bags are made from it these days. I think you might be pleasantly surprised in a few years just how tough it is.
Super helpful, was on the fence because I felt there wasn’t enough imagery to bank on but this was perfect. Good candid notes about the buckle-and the standing view was very clear, so I could imagine myself wearing it. Thanks 👍🏽
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the video. There certainly aren’t a lot of videos on Kadet Max. I enjoyed the comparison. I also own both and use them for different things. Kadet max usually for work stuff when I have to do events and portably carry a lot of things and Kadet I use for riding around my neighborhood where there’s bars/shops/restaurants.
Glad my video helped! Yeah I did this video right around the time they released Kadet Max in America, and I was the first one to make a video about it lol. Now I actually only keep regular Kadet and their barrage cargo backpack, though. I loved Kadet Max too!
Hi! Please check the description! I believe I put the size of my PC that fit in the bag there. I'd say it's more like a main compartment of a backpack!
Totally agreed! Just got myself Chrome Barrage Cargo backpack, and it's much more comfortable than Kadet Max when I have so much stuff to carry. I do have regular Kadet too and it serves different purpose.
For me, it would actually be perfect because in the winter I generally have a puffy layer and a shell and gloves I’m trying to carry with me, which the Kadet would not carry along side the other things I want to bring (iPad mini, various chargers, folding over the ear headphones, wallet keys phone). The puffy and the shell would only add a little weight but carry significantly more volume. A backpack becomes cumbersome when getting stuff out on the fly, this would address that beautifully!
Great video, many thanks for sharing! Two questions, please! The exterior pocket has no pockets inside? Is it just a BIG pocket? And, is it comfortable to go around with it when fully loaded? As you’re carrying all the weight with only one shoulder, I wonder if it’s OK for like walking around or commuting or around an airport…thanks man! 👍🏻
Thanks for the comment! There are 2 small pockets inside the exterior pocket (they are very small and tight, and I'd put things that are thin like phone, small note, etc.). The belt and buckle is very steady and it holds up pretty well, and it does not hurt my shoulder. However, it gets a little uncomfortable when I put my laptop (mine is a big heavy) and other stuff and it gets fully loaded to the point where I feel I should just use backpack if carrying heavy stuff. I would not use it like a backpack. I now only carry things like pants and shoes for workout and other essential items like umbrella, phones, passport, waterbottle, etc. very cool overall!
Could you carry this pack for hours when fully packed or does it feel uncomfortable? A friend has this and said he could easily carry it for 6 hours fully packed no problem but he was a chrome fan so I'm not sure if he's trustworthy 😅
I will be honest with you! It cannot beat the comforts of backpack (you are holding the weight with both of your shoulders with backpack while Kadet Max is only one shoulder). So, it gets very uncomfortable if I put too much stuff in it. If you have a lot of stuff, you might want to just use backpack.

Really appreciate the review as I'm looking into getting one and you're right - there are almost no videos
Glad it helped! Yeah it's weird how there aren't many reviews🤔
I appreciate your honest review , especially with the comments about the weight and the rain .
Glad it helped!💪
Very informative review and overall video. Thank you for making it!
My pleasure😊 Hope it helped!
Great review. I’m thinking of ordering one so this video helped.
Glad to help! You won't regret it!
I’ve seen another reviewer remove the bottom straps. I’d double check under the strap near the middle of the buckles!
Awesome review! Ordered mine today, thanks so much 😎
Nice! I hope u'll like it!
The front zipper isn’t coated. Will the belongings get wet if rain?
I never used it in very rainy day, but yes it might get wet.
Thanks man, im on the fence if my acer nitro can fit the kadet max. Will get it next month
Glad my video helped!
I ended up liking the regular Kadet, tho. Max is great too if you carry a lot of stuff. I hope you'll like it💪
How wide is that main pocket ??? Is it more like sleeved pocket than like a main compartment of a backpack ??
Hi! Please check the description! I believe I put the size of my PC that fit in the bag there.
I'd say it's more like a main compartment of a backpack!
It looks heavy. When I need to carry that amount I will use a backpack. I have the regular Kadet and that’s enough for me.

Hi, just a quick question..can the stabilizer strap be switched?
Thanks for the comment! Yes it is💪
Hi, can the max fit 16” macbook pro?
16" might be like on the border line!
great stuff mate, cheers
Yeah it's a great bag
