Dear Wizard, you probably did already but please double check the clearance of the window when fully opened and the speaker magnet. You wouldn’t be the first to miss that sometimes manufacturer’s need to use very shallow neodymium speakers because of the little clearance in the door. I usually try to match the original depth or shallower.

I bought a new 2004 Gallardo. So many bull runs from Scottsdale to Prescott, Sedona, and Jerome. 24-26 Lambos and a few Ferrari’s with 9000 rpm motors singing on deserted Arizona highways with cookouts at the destination resort. Mechanics stated the V10 was bullet proof. For a high performance engine probably make it to 100,000 miles. The intake noise mixed with the Tubi exhaust was intoxicating. $3000 yearly checkup and oil change. $3000 yearly tags. $3000 yearly insurance. Repairs were rare but at least $3000 for minor stuff. Maintenance similar cost of small plane

Expensive cars usually are expensive to maintain. I have talked to Lamborghini owners before and they have said that both the Countach and Jalpa had very simple engines that were easy to work on and maintain. The biggest problem was getting parts but you could do a lot of repairs yourself. The Murcielago and Aventador though aren't really that way. But, I imagine that this Murcielago is more reliable and costs less to keep on the road than a late model Mercedes with over 100,000 miles.

People who own these types of vehicles are a bit smarter than the rest of us. They don’t throw all their money at them at once.
Was anyone listening in the beginning of Wizards video. He said it has doubled in value. So this guy gets to drive his savings account around and knows if he doesn’t wreck it. It’s going to be worth more money when he brings it home and puts it back into one of his garages.
I’d say Wizard has a very smart client.

With the gated manual trans, wouldn't that be the Balboni edition or were early Murcielagos available with them?

I had a 2005 Murcielago few years ago I had the dealer removed the headlights and gave them to me then I used a razor blade from a disposable to remove the lens so I can clean them and resealed them , let me tell ya it make the car that much nicer with crystal clear headlights.

Hi Wizard, well with speakers it is usually sound that people go for. However in a Lamborghini you can never hear the sound system because of the engine noise. So in this case looks are more important. 😂😂😂😂

You can rotate those wheels from side to side because the tires aren't directional.

Here I am trying to justify buying a 6spd pre-LP Gallardo,, but a 6spd Murcielago is the dream. They pretty much cost as much as a used Aventador these days. Only thing I don't like about it is the interior, but must be a blast to drive.

Never trust a grab-bar (Oh 💩 handle). I dumped it into second from highway speeds when my brother was looking out the side window and he just tore it off.

Even though these are cool cars, I cannot understand the desire to own one. Too much maintenance and headaches in my opinion.
I had the pleasure of driving a Lamborghini at a car meet, thanks Don! It was a gallardo with the 5.2 and an automatic, but it was pretty cool. Definitely wasn’t as “special” as anticipated, which was both a relief and disappointment. I appreciate my C6 Z06 even more now, even though his Lamborghini did beat my car in a race. It was kinda close, about a 2 car gap from a low roll to 120~ish. The interior was leaps and bounds better than mine, but it becomes an afterthought after being in it for a bit. The touch points were SO MUCH BETTER than my car though. Also, driving characteristics were a lot different too, but I kind of liked the squirrely feel of the Z06 because it was more exciting.
