I think I get your drift. The '47 seems ironclad. The tempest in the teapot over the "frame mounts" was mostly due to estrogen overexposure I think. I suffer from it myself at times when I really want something and the warden keeps pointing out the drawbacks.
Chad & Jolene absolutely awesome collection that Eli has, it is just beautiful the way his place is set up. Some people have a real knack for filling every square inch of a place and have it look like art & not clutter. Thank you for taking us along for the tour with you guys, I can't believe that we spent all that time and have not even seen everything, I really appreciate that you two are going to video the rest of it, I am fascinated by it all!
You made my day stopping at Eli English,s place it is amazing and makes me feel like I want to go back in my life when all the towns were lit up with those signs and people were living in that era. I am sure many people like me miss those days . Thank Eli and his family for preserving the past . We all have the passion and brings the good old days back to life.
This is great! I love the videos of you building/fabricating, but when you see what other people have in their collection and you are in awe, it is great! I have watched you for years and love your bravery with fabrication. It is good to see how you feel about what other people have made and collected. Thanks for the great content and everything both of you do. I love seeing a couple who can work together without a bunch of drama and arguing. Keep up the great work!!!
Hey Chad. The old 235 Chevy six bangers had an elliptical screw that popped up through the base of the points that you turned to open and close the gap until you got it to the desired width then you locked down a machine screw to keep it where you had set it.First, you would turn the fan until the distributor shaft’s lobe was pushing out against the fiber follower on the movable side of the points, then you rotated that elliptical screw with the screwdriver. Designers wouldn’t dare make anything that simple nowadays! We might accidentally work on something for our self! Ha ha! I miss the old days.
They talk about them sometimes in there vids When he doing other stuff Usally at the start or end of a vid So I say they do read em BUT dont lower them selves to some of the standards on here
Glad to see Chad and Jolene enjoying themselves watching and waiting to see if he gets anything to remind them of their trip. It seems like he always meets some nice people. God God bless and have a blessed and safe trip home. Have a blessed night
@@kimberlywilliams9757 I'm waiting to see if Chad ever apologizes. I've watched each episode over and now that the dust has settled a bit Chad definitely was wrong in how he handled things..AGAIN!...and I was wrong in blaming Larry...Larry did absolutely NOTHING wrong and the car ISN'T rusty.
What an amazing place! The barn it's self has so much character it accentuates the collection. It's very hard to get this look in a modern building. Nice people too.
When I was a kid we vacationed on Cape Cod and got the privilege of visiting an old blacksmith shop owned by a friend of my grandparents. The gentleman had passed away but his wife gave us a tour. The shop was left just the way it was when he died. It was an amazing slice of history. Early 1960s.👍👍
My mum had a pedal tractor similar to the one shown. I used it as a kid and was hooning around doing figure 8s around the house stumps under our highset house on the cattle station my parents owned. I fell off and broke one of my collar bones when I was about 5yo. I used her old pedal car for a while after that, lol.
Who the hell shows up at someone’s shop/home and brings one….ONE…ONLY ONE beer and the drinks it in front of your hosts…and has a 6 pack of Corona’s behind the front seat
wow YOU fool It was not full that 6 pack in the first place that was yesterday So I say they drunk em that night MAYBE this guy dont drink and Jolien new that BUT no it easy to bag some one I have been to many parties took like 3 beers and drunk like 20 So what WOW you live in a sad world
Most people dont drink during the day so the fact that you feel concerned enough to comment instead of assuming they were offered and said no speaks volumes to your character
Wow all things collectible! What will they get here ? Sign? Can ? Hat rack ? Or coat hangars ? Stay tuned in to find out ! Thumbs-up on the journey home Jolene and Chad !

I love the lighted sign with the points in it. I remember a Popular Mechanics article from the sixties showing how to make a set of three wooden cams to operate points for your outdoor Christmas lights so that they would flash. Very cool!
What a absolutely wonderful place. The fact he knows where every sign came from and story behind it is just the whip cream on top of the cherry. This is just the coolest place I have ever witnessed. Thank you all for sharing it!
This is the best "will it run & drive home" video series yet! lol . What an adventure! Thanks for bringing us on your journey Chad & Jolene!! Hope everyone has a great weekend and a Blessed Memorial Day.
I have to say and show respect for this collection. It seems like they are real down to earth people , great content , just keep keeping it real. Another day and another dollar.
I am pretty sure that the stoppage holds history for passion❤. What a beautiful way of storing life stories ❤❤ In todays world its a way to appreciate human emotions which is rare❤❤ LOVED IT..
Good evening guys, what a beautiful video.Them two boys have too be the smartest guys in 1947 . Thank you for the wonderful video. Steve from Nb St. Stephen Canada
I really enjoyed this video so much I had to watch it twice......I thought it was funny when chad asked Mr English if he would consider that old fire panel truck rust free
Chad and jolene I think they need a bigger garage to store there stuff there's so much in there you can't get to see it all because it's all in front of other. They definitely have a lot to look at it just needs to be spread out more. It's a great collection to own that's for sure. Keep up the great work the both of you 👏 👍
I know how to use that Bear balancer! I trained on that same machine back in 1971. It's a dynamic balancer that spins the wheel and drum together off the car. It was a great machine.
I knew a guy who owned a Texaco station back in the day. He told me he had the big Texaco sign sitting against his fence, and ended up giving it to his neighbor who only wanted it for the metal. Talk about making a person sick.
You liked the look of the old barn and said you couldn't pull off that look in your new garage because it has modern white walls. Just cover sections in wood or murals like the Dealership SEVEN82MOTORS you visited while in Australia.
I love the old Chevrolet the man has I would love to take something like that or even see somebody convert a old truck like that into a handicap accessible wheelchair van being quadriplegic you really don't have very many choices I was able to trick out my 2003 Chrysler town and country but is not the same as a old classic American muscle car when I upgraded to a 2020 Chrysler van it's nice and everything but just not something that you really want especially for the price you pay for these vehicles almost $60,000 for a handicap accessible vehicle that you really don't like but I just have to use it as a necessity
Wow chad that guy an place is sure impressive,,lovin it,,I’m happy for you an Jolene that the car is doing well, thank you for shearing it all with us,,luv ya’s,👍👍😀
I wonder if Larry has any more rusty cars for sale that run that good.
Hey J Power ! Good to see ya on here. J.Power
I would like to have that Old Ford

Maybe Chad can find some running boards to fit on the outriggers he thinks are body mounts on the car he bought?
Perhaps, but I was wondering why you guys are still subscribed and watching his videos if you don't like them?
Let it go!! Take a deep breath
