- The moment I left Alaska, my motorcycle odometer clicked 150,000 km! At this point, I'd ridden through 5 continents in 6.5 years. This was an emotional moment, to be honest. And on top of that, in this episode, I'm showing you the most scenic landscapes of Yukon and British Columbia in Canada.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. how wonderful are your videos. I lived my life in Alaska. did drive from Fairbanks to Belize and back. Retired now and have a small farm in the Natural State. took a dog team from Whitehorse to Fairbanks

Yes, your hair is fabulous! Congratulations on Chillie's mileage. I have a few bikes I've taken over 100,000 miles, but they needed work to baby them that far. You have been extremely lucky with this bike and we are all grateful with you. Every week you've made me miss Alaska and riding. We just had a snow storm here in Iowa so I spent a night out camping to test my newest sleeping bags. I do miss winter camping with my son but not as much as I miss riding so I am living through you until this jib is done and I can head south.

Please be careful pulling over on the roads I found myself stopping randomly even just to make a phone call or check GPS and found myself in between momma bear 🐻 and her cubs even spooking a bear with a loud bike could be the scariest thing thanks for the video I loved it I'd recommend British Columbia next

Skagway is my favorite Alaskan City. I was in Samarkand, Uzbekistan in 1979 and it seemed like going back in time 2500 years!

And, there's the voice that tells me I'm being chased by leeches.

People keep saying that the GS are boring bikes, but you tell me what bike is more reliable and capable than the BMW GS series of adventure bikes. Chillie has proven to be a strong reliable bike

I follow you, the videos are great, I'm interested, how many times have you changed the battery. and is that BMW German or is it made somewhere else?
So far I've used up 3 batteries. I just buy any brand that's available on the road.
Looks like the old White Pass & Yukon Railroad track bed. There's still talk of re-opening the line to Skagway if passenger or freight/minerals business allows. The portion still open to Skagway is owned by Carnival Cruise Lines. New locomotives were bought under a shared order with Australia for narrow gauge system.
That's 150k km according to Chillie's odo.. In reality she's probably got another 10k to go.
Chillie's engine is in great shape and the way she's going she won't have an engine rebuilt for at least another 100k.

I went downstream through Miles Canyon in my canoe... and paddled my way back up too, not so easy! Been to Skagway as well, tourist ships make the town look small. Ride on Kinga!!
