      they are called "Concealed Cabinet Hinge brass" they are so sweet, and crazy expensive. But i do belive they are common enough that you can get them at a regular hardware place. Get some and bu ild something cool :D

    What would the angle be if you used two squares for top and bottom and then had eight triangles holding it up?

    What was the math formula you used to cut those mitered angles? I wish to make a pyramid shape (the top & bottom part of your octahedron), but at a more steep angle (at a 22.5 deg angle), but I don't know how to determine the math for the miter cut to that 22.5 degree)?

    really like your videos! What material do you use? Is it painted MDF?

      It is called Valchromat, it is colored Mdf, it is colored all the way through.
