Awesome job on the breaks I have never done a 1 ton.. I have done 1/2 ton but they are simple breaks. Also living in the no salt area makes a big difference..

i always been told to packed bearings with grease never oil was told.

I never pack bearings with grease when it is a oiled axle , have never had issue. Oil and grease are not the same and when axle cools down it will end up with thick clumps of grease in there

I’m probably going to take this year off and work hard to rebuild all the muscle back there. 1 year off might get me 20 more! Surgeon says I’m going to be good to go if I do everything he says for this winter but I sure don’t feel now I’ll be good to go, will see
