I actually did this recently myself. It's so much fun to be able to taunt him about how he wasn't good enough and that Caroline deserved better(even though it does nothing to actually affect him) since all he ever does is focus on his shop. Caroline herself says that she wishes he would spend more time with the family instead of always focusing on his shop.
Pierre couldn’t even register it. You’d be able to talk about how you bed his ex wife every night and all her talks about how much she hates him and he’d just stand there, head empty, like a Wooper. And just ask, “What’re you buyin’ stranger?”

I don't mind Pierre.... but the one character I cannot stand is Demetrius. How dare he hate on my Sebby, Maru is a boring character and is literally praised for being smart. Sebastian is smart too, he's a software developer and works on his motorcycle... a mechanic is essential for a town and at any moment Sebastian could unleash a nasty virus or worm throughout everyone's computers.
Maru isn't boring, she's just, the normal smart girl in the valley. Demetrius is a prick for favouritising his blood daughter. Robin doesn't seem to fair much better with her own blood son either.
Somehow, Maru and Sebastian are better than their own parents
Don't forget there's a cutscene where he lowkey threatens you about getting in the way of his daughters work.

I give him some slack in the beginning due to his conflict with Morris but after Joja is driven out of town he never mellows up, all he seems to do is open on Wednesdays and put his prices up and at least Morris never tried to monopolise event days and put up his own stand like Pierre does.

@@yoongisugaagustd7418 those are medical prices, probably owned by the state (though, I'm Canadian, I know medical care in America) where maybe the price is from getting you out of the skull cavern (500g) and the cost for equipment. (because I think it's 1000g, I can't recall for medical expenses)
