I never thought of singeing off my ear hairs with a torch...learn something new every day. Is there a special kind of berber lighter fluid for that, or will any old Zippo fluid or kerosene do?
do you wanna hear blow dryers and other salon related ambient noise while watching a massage? I am glad the sound is off during this time, but couldve add relaxing music tho.
@JimmyR1rider funny you should say that but george clooney was the face of turkish airlines a few years ago, never could find the link between the two, may be this is it!!
@CollegeOfHardKnocks Because in the US its all about getting your money and getting you outa that chair as soon a possible. I wish they did that here also
That barber is scary as fuck. There is no way I would have let that guy get anywhere near me with a razor. If I was sitting in that chair I would have got up and bolted like a roadrunner cartoon.
@grizzlyfan41 At the turn of the century(1900) American barber shops did all that except the singeing, and I'm not to sure they didn't do that too. I remember my Grandmother talking about singeing hair. Singeing has probably been around for thousands, maybe tens of thousands of years. Before Katrina I had a barber that gave a scalp massage. Then he used one of those strap on palm vibrators(with large motor on top of hand) on your shoulders and neck.
@doobiesmoke15 It's the only way to get it out of your ears. Well, the least painful. Saw a video of some of our guys in Iraq getting ear hair singed. It's great and they all liked it. They just don't do it in this country.
To my understanding, barbers are strictly for men, although you do get the occasional barber who would do girl's haircuts. I don't think men would cut women's hair in Istanbul either.
@CollegeOfHardKnocks Because I don't think as a society we are ready for this kind of pleasure. We are too "macho" and too prideful to be taken care of like this from another man. But I could be wrong, but that is just my opinion......I think i could handle it though.....
Before "asmr" was a thing. One of my original favorites for relaxing
Same here
Greetings from Greece! I suppose our neighbours know how to have a professional haircat(all this detailed treatment is just awesome).
Excellent video, good to see all that shaving going on and the guy getting his goatee trimmed at the end, wow!
I really enjoed this video. I wish I could visit Senol´s "Galata Erkek Kuaföru" once, but I live in Venezuela ! Greetings !
A place like this would do incredible business in LA.
This is pretty cool....i'm getting relaxed just watching it!
Great video, thanks ! It would be a great pleasure to be there.
And you're very good looking with hair that short, keep it like this...
This is amazing. Greetings from Germany.
Did anyone else lose the sound half way through this!?
Good video!
What is the point of the fire, especially on the ears?
I never thought of singeing off my ear hairs with a torch...learn something new every day. Is there a special kind of berber lighter fluid for that, or will any old Zippo fluid or kerosene do?
How does that fireball feel when it touched your skin?

What is that thing called that they're doing with the fire to the ear?
If i ever go to Istanbul, I know exactly which salon im going to . Thanks.
@doobiesmoke15 Depends on how long it touches. How long do you think it takes to singe hair? How long does it appear in the video?
Right on!, so true
WATS THE FIRST BEST?
@CollegeOfHardKnocks Because in the US its all about getting your money and getting you outa that chair as soon a possible. I wish they did that here also

I like these guys, wish mine would do this.
whats with the flame ear? wouldnt that just make the hair grow back darker and mnake your ears look like wolf man?
2:46 and 3:41 the best moments ever!! hahahahahahaha
that's for burning the ear hair. it doesn't hurt.
You need something that burns at a low temperature without leaving residue or a smell, so zippo fluid is probably best.
2:47 ladies and gentleman there is Mickey Mouse LOL
@CollegeOfHardKnocks in germany they are some barbers like that

I think the barber looks a bit like José Mourinho ...
@KitCox I don't know I ain't never singed no hair before
To my understanding, barbers are strictly for men, although you do get the occasional barber who would do girl's haircuts. I don't think men would cut women's hair in Istanbul either.
