To for context:
This was in Sacramento CA, at Heart Health park at Cal Expo (The State Fair) It is a soccer field.
It is very common to have the divider down the middle like that, they commonly do it so they can run cables and have an easy place for security/staff to get people pulled out of the crowd. They do the same at AfterShock also held in Sacramento.
I was at this show, this was the second to last song of the night (We had be there for over 4 hours at this point) You cant see it very well, but on the left side of the stage (Right side from the camera angles) there is a mosh pit going and the crowd was very into it. While the mix did a damn good job for the band, it cut the crowd volume a lot! When they cut out for the crowd to say "Watch the world burn" you could feel it. Around 7500 people there so not huge but a good show.
If you have not seen them live, I would highly recommend it.
I was also there, can confirm it rocked.
Was at this show! This video of Ronnie doesn't do him NEARLY any justice. It gave me GOOSEBUMPS
7:14 I think the runway was purposeful for this particular show because they did have extensive filming being done some of the shots did go right up the middle.
I saw them at Red Rocks front row center… it was one of the best shows Ive ever seen and I’ve seen hundreds of concerts. They put on the best shows❤️❤️❤️

Idk which song you listened to but Ronnie was a beast back in the day. In fact his screams were much better than what it is now. He's still great but not as great as he used to be.
You should check out what his screams were like back in Escape the fate. Listen to the Guillotine. His lows are insane.
I agree, that Ronnie was always pretty good with the harsh vocals. I disagree, that he was better than he is today. I know The Guillotine well, but just listened to it again to be sure. The lows were shorter and a bit more restricted. Maybe you hear it differently because you were an impressed teenager when you first heard it? No offense, just a theory.
Ohhh interesting. I’m not sure what the song was, it was my first time hearing it and I haven’t heard it since. I will see if I can find it!
@@KrisThroughGlass Both Ronnie and Craig don't perform that song live anymore bc it's hard for them to hit those lows. The time they did perform that song. Craig completely skipped the low screams while Ronnie did perform it but just couldn't go that low anymore.
I will say that Ronnie has definitely improved his screaming technique but Ronnie during the ETF era was a different beast.
I have a video of when they did there first ever live performance of this song when he played it less than 24 hours after it came out

I was at that show in Sac. It was on a soccer field (which is next to the fairgrounds that you saw) so we could go either in the stands or in front. The aisle in the middle was a bit weird. But the crowd was definitely moving. The video doesn't do it justice. After this song Ronnie said this was the best show of the tour at that point.
