My husband and I got married in 2003 and tried for over ten years to have a baby, and we were finally blessed with a beautiful baby boy in 2014. Three years later my husband passed away in a tragic auto accident. Five years have gone by and it is just me and my son, who is now 8 years old and the absolute joy of my life! Being a Mom is the most incredible blessing...watching you take those pregnancy tests and get negative after negative took me back to a time when I was experiencing those very same emotions with my own husband. Enjoy every moment of this blessing that has been bestowed upon you, you are most deserving Allie! While I don't know you personally, I am so incredibly thrilled for you and your family!
Kaitlyn you are in my thoughts, because I know all too well that being a young widow and mom is incredibly difficult and so unfair, and my heart breaks for you. I wish I could send you many many comforting hugs.

My son is 9 months now and just my little side kick, I love the way his face lights up when he sees me after I’ve been gone for 30 sec 😂. It is so incredibly hard to raise my son without my husband, but I do have a really good support system. I’ve met so many amazing widows through my journey, such a shitty club to be a part of but such a supportive one. All the best to you and your son!!!

I love how your husband just knew you were pregnant despite the early test results and he trusted God’s timing. I have heard the longer you wait to test, the more accurate the result is so that’s why there was false negatives early on. Congrats on your new bundle of joy very soon. You look absolutely radiant!

It’s true, also most time the women brain will falsely make the body think it’s pregnant but not because of the wanting.
It’s the being patient and not always thinking about it, than it happens.

I can’t wait to answer baby questions! Your a mama! The moment you hear your child’s voice it’s as if your always the same and what has always been reality suddenly melts away and you see the whole world and life differently. It’s a really crazy experience. I can’t really put it in words. It’s as if a veil is lifted and you see life and everything around you so differently and the love you feel for your baby….. it’s not even close to any other experience or love. Enjoy!! And get LOTS OF REST!!! Enjoy the naps and just relax because once this child is born you won’t be able to rest. And ….. no matter what ANYONE says keep that baby next to you when you bring her/him home!! Don’t have your newborn baby in a separate room when they’re so new! Please! It’s natural for us humans to have our infant next to us when we sleep. I had my son in a bassinet right up against the bed by me. It’s crucial for bonding and that your baby never feels alone. Waking up helpless , unable to speak or even sit up and you’re all alone , that would be terrifying! Babies need that security and your presence.
Babies are people and when anyone acts as if they aren’t aware they’re so wrong. And “sleep training “ is a joke! If your child needs to be close to you, then stay close. No baby should be left crying. It can cause real damage actually. That’s my big thing I tell new moms. Just always put yourself in their position.

I had to have a hysterectomy when I was 25, so I get super emotional about stuff like this. I'm so so happy for you both though😭😭
I def understand the feeling of being happy but also jealous of others that have absolutely no problems conceiving me and my husband tried for years and it happened once but I had a miscarriage and then never again we couldn’t afford in vitro so I’m now 39 and I’ve had the hardest yr trying to come to terms with my age now and knowing that I’ll never be a mom to my own child. But one thing I’ll tell ya is when I see all these women on tv killing their babies or throwing them in a dumpster I get soo infuriated cuz it makes me question so much about why god would allow them to keep having kids over and over and why people like us don’t get the chance!!🙈❤️🩹
@@mcry2024 yeah, hearing stories like that break my heart. I also was only ever able to get pregnant once, but I had too much Endometriosis in my fallopian tubes, so it never made it to my uterus, and I had a miscarriage before I even knew I was pregnant.

When we were trying to get pregnant, I remember getting so so stressed around my period every single time. It is such an emotional rollercoaster trying to get pregnant. I did end up getting pregnant that time, but I lost the child and I felt like I couldn't emotionally handle continuing to try at that point so we stopped. 6 months later, we weren't trying at all and our little rainbow was conceived. She's almost 5 months old now. The beginning of this video really got me, cause I was so emotional the whole time. Happy for you guys, and so excited to see you two experience parenthood.

I started crying during the ad before the video started!!! I was in the middle of buying yarn online, and there isn’t much that I allow to interrupt my yarn purchases. 🤣🤣 this obviously was far more important and I am sending you both and your families all of the love and hugs and well wishes one person could possibly send. There have been few times in my life where I have felt the level of excitement that I feel now for people I don’t even know personally to announce they are pregnant. Congratulations!!! You can't rush miracles... I started crying! Gosh this was super sweet and an emotional roller coaster to watch. I know you guys were going out of your minds during all this. I just went through the same thing in August. I never skip periods, I may have 2 in a month but never skip one. My husband and even my doctor was convinced I was pregnant and made me wait a few days and get blood work done. I wasn't though.. It was the most anxious and impatient I've ever felt! It was such a roller coaster. I've wondered if you were pregnant. Hoping you were! Your lips have changed and that's always a dead give away to me when someone is pregnant. The upper lip gets fuller near the corners. I've always thought a pregnant woman's smile is gorgeous.
