Its soundtrack was composed by Alias Conrad Coldwood. It's WAY too complex to explain. You guys should look into it - it's insane, but good.

I know that this list is technically based off of the original Cave Story, but I just wanted to point out that Wind Fortress is used in the challenge of the same name in Cave Story+ and the intro to the Remastered version of Meltdown 2 comes from Meltdown 1

Toroko's theme was used! If you beat the game in a decent time (or cheat, like I did), you will see on the title Toroko with a stick, while the theme is playing. The theme you've been mistakes with is King's theme. That one was unused.
This makes no sense. What appears on the title screen depends how fast you beat hell, not the entire game. Under 6 minutes plays running hell and shows curly, under 5 plays torokos theme and shows toroko, under 4 plays white and shows king, and under 3 plays safety and shows sue.
"Toroko's Theme" is by all means NOT an unused song. It is one the two possible credit songs that plays during the third and best ending of the game. To get it to play however requires you that beat both Sacred Grounds/Blood-Stained Sanctuary and Ballos in under 2:50 with King's theme (White), the other possible credit theme, requiring you to beat the final area and boss in under 3 minutes. Calling these "unused" is extremely misleading and false.
I'd love to do that! That being said, right now I have a few big projects I need to take care of, so it may be a while before I do it. In the meantime, you should check out DynamiteManEXE's OST cover; it's one of my favorites.

You're correct. I recorded these tracks using a different version of FamiTracker than what I made them on, so there were a few glitches here and there (the VRC7 is one of the more fickle expansion chips when it comes to FT versions). That being said, none of my newer videos have this problem.
@eerslashkill is right, if you have the 290 counter and beat the blood stained sanctuary in between 3-4 minutes the original title theme music is replaced with White and Quote is replaced with King!
