Мені, як людині яка займається в залі, дуже приємно, що чоловіча стать то є masculine gender. Дякую за комплімент! ) Also, I really proud of you, because a big part of the comments is written by English-speaking people. Thank you for your work and thank your boyfriend or husband (I don't remember, sorry) for defending our country and freedom for all civilized countries.
Thank you!
Inna, I do have your book on Ukrainian cases but I only started reading it recently 😅
Thank you for everything you do. Your perseverance is admirable! I see your pain and professionalism. 😢
Are you going to make videos where you will speak only ukrainian language full video without english ? I speak a little ukrainian and I think it is good idea for student who understand something. Good job !
Inna, thanks for explaining the grammar on this expression. Just wondering does your book on cases explain the usage of prepositions in different cases? Thanks and be safe
Дуже дякую, Інно! Зараз я буду писати английською, тому що, я хотів би щоб всі зрозуміли.
Everyone, this is a great grammar lesson. Inna is very clear that grammar is very important, and it is. I am one of her students and am still studying. If you have the time, her course is incredible. I highly recommend it. 💙💛🇺🇦
Thank you! Very helpful
Read what you read
Say what you say
Do what you do , like that
'Would' in English is actually a past form of 'will', so in the context of a polite request or wish 'would like' is also expressed in past tense, just like хотів/а/ли би.
I never thought of that! How interesting. I wonder why we say it that way.
@@meganromano9582 To be precise, Germanic and Slavic languages use the conditional mood to express politeness in requests. English uses modal verb 'would' (which is past perfect form of 'will') + like/love, while Slavic languages use the verb 'want' in past form (there is no perfect tense in Slavic languages, only perfective and imperfective aspects) + particle ви / by / bych / bih, which is used to express conditional mood (but not only for that). It is as if to soften one's wish by acknowledging it may be not granted.
In Canada, the older Ukrainian immigrants from Halychyna like my parents, who came in the 1920s and 50s , say ya hochy.., so thanks for the modernization. 🇨🇦🇺🇦🌻
When do you use "би" versus "б"?
so, Що ви любите пити? => what do you want to drink correctly? If I can ask a question of course.
As far as I know 'Що ви любите пити?' = 'What do you like to drink?', whereas 'Що ви хочете пити?' = 'What do you want to drink?'.
@@MorteDallAlto дуже дякую, I indeed made a mistake. very sorry
@@bemljeve Ласкаво просимо, no need to apologise, I'm learning too so I'm just glad I could help!
Это шедеврально гггы ))
Більше дякую вам, шановна інна!
The problem for westerners is the Cyrillic alphabet. It is so different from our norm that it takes real effort to figure out.
Did you take algebra in HS? If so, you already know most of the letters!
Lambda = L
Delta = D
Phi = F
Etc.
From google translate I got:
Я (жіночий рід) хочу подякувати за вступ до української мови.
I know a lot of Russian. It is interesting to hear the differences.
👍👍👍💙💛💙💛💙💛
Interesting. I've always heard most Ukrainians say "ya hochu". Just direct language.
Героям слава!✌
Would like what
You are very beautifull ⚘⚘🌷
There is a lot of echo in your room ...so, it is not clear how to pronounce the words ..you should make sure the echo is eliminated...
Would liked in ukriane i think to much money for combat
З коментарів видно, що українська мова є так само, як санскрит, більш- менш латинська, іврит чи арамейська, - вишукана, елегантна, не для всіх, така як Ви, п. Інна. Але Ваші уроки придадуться на всі 100 : небо не є границя для крилатого, Ви ж крила вчите розвивати. / I m really sorry for my clumsy efforts to promote your matter, -;stay safe, Ukraine will stand
Я хотів би вчити добре
Would you ever consider dating a black guy ⚫🖤
lol thats so random
Ya khotiv be tvoy telefon nomer 😉
I love Ukraine and Europe, that is why I wish the Zelensky regime would negotiate with Russia. The people pushing this war do not care about Europe at all
You can’t negotiate with the kremliners. It’s they who don’t care about a free Europe. They proved that with their method of invasion.
If you love Ukraine, you want a sovereign independent country not an occupied corrupt puppet state like you had in the Stalinist days.
You're right, Putin really doesn't give a damn about Europe.
