- A driving tour of the Phoenix East Valley. Gilbert, AZ, Chandler, AZ, Tempe, AZ, Guadalupe, AZ and Ahwatukee Foothills, Arizona are the places I drive through. No commentary for this one. Just sit back and enjoy the scenery of these Phoenix Arizona suburbs! (Correction, I have a part marked South Chandler, but I was going through the downtown Chandler area).

Hey guys, I want to correct a mistake in the video. I had South Chandler describing a location I was passing through. It was not. I was actually going through the downtown area.
Thanks for sharing these lovely locations. Would have been perfect, though, were it not for the occurring floods and dust storms.
Great soundtrack on this one.
Thanks!
Wow, the kids are getting big, I've been watching for awhile! Your lady is gorgeous, reminds me of my daughter. Now I really want to live there! Thanks for the ride!
Appreciate the comment (I’ll pass along the compliment to my wife). And yes the kids are sprouting up a little too fast for me!
Beautiful place, man
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the memories my friend. We had to move away in May 2019 for family. When you were in Guadalupe you were around the corner from where we lived in Tempe. Tons of memories at Arizona Mills Lego Land with our kids too. Have you done a video of Surprise? I've browsed your library but haven't found one. Love your channel and would love to come to one of your get togethers when we move back. Keep up the good work.
No video on Surprise yet. Hope to make one in the future. Thanks for watching the channel!
I really like all the videos. I spent about 3 months in Phoenix in 1989 and can't forget the beautiful sights. Can't wait to visit!
Thanks for checking out the channel!
Ahhh, I love seeing these sunny day tours of the valley. It never gets old. Paradise under the sun. Thank you AZ Dreamz for keeping the world connected and up to date with the beautiful world of Arizona. Love it! 😊🌅

Was watching at 5 a.m while getting ready for work & found myself jammin to music during the Guadeloupe drive through before I knew it. Got me going for the day!

It 4:58...&& lm watching!!
Haha cute kids! Thanks for the driving video, I love these!! 😀
Thanks. Glad you like this one!
Dude, I can't wait to move out there. Possibly within the next 4-6 weeks
Awesome, man! Hope it happens for you. Enjoying some great 70-80s temps right now. It probably won’t last much longer, but I’ll take it!
@Arizona Dreams What is your opinion on the artwork along the local freeways? Also, what is your opinion on the rubberized asphalt and the overall quality and design of the Phoenix area highways?
I think the artwork is fine as it's a nod to the southwestern heritage. The road quality is superior to many places I've been but the amount of debris on the roadways is not good.
I’ve lived in the east valley for over 40 years. Much nicer overall than the west side. East valley has more tech jobs. West side more service jobs. Downtown Gilbert is the foodie capital of the entire valley.
Please more videos. I visit every year to escape the cold Midwest winters.
More videos to come. Thanks for watching!
I was there in Gilbert visiting family for Easter weekend from Oregon, a 20 hour drive.
That was a bit of a drive. Thanks for leaving a comment!
Great video!!!! Oh how I remember living in Az....my fav Az cities though are Cave Creek, Tucson and Flag! Thx for the video!!
Thanks! I enjoy Flagstaff quite a bit (especially when it starts getting hot in the Valley). Thanks for watching!
An afternoon cruise with the family. I love it. Great video Homie. Keep up the great work and videos. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed our joy ride!
AD, thank you for doing this vid. My daughters live in the area and I'm thinking of moving there myself from southern Wisconsin. Your vid just gave me the only real view I've had of the Phoenix area and you did it well. Your children and the music you chose gave a really pleasant dimension to your work too, good thinking!
Really appreciate the feedback. I did it a little differently this time (going to multiple places instead of focusing on one spot), so glad it was well received!
Your videos are always really fun and engaging. Love that your family's energy is always so happy. Explore San Tan Valley neeeext :)
Thanks! And I've already done a video in San Tan Valley. Here it is: ruclips.net/video/KvPBcxrDp2c/видео.html
@@LivinOurDreamz Thank you. :) Mom and I moved to Arizona just a month ago, and us binge-watching your videos played a huge part in that. Please keep making your videos when you can, as they really help and encourage people. :)
I intend to. Happy to hear my videos helped in some way!
the music your beautiful family the great music never stop making videos
I plan on lots more videos to come! Thanks for the comment!
Love your music! Goes well with the drive!😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Live in and love Chandler also Desert foothills is beautiful
I'm a NE Phoenix/N Scottsdale girl. I live in Wickenburg right now and moving to California soon.
You're the opposite of the norm. Going from AZ to California rather than coming from California to here. Good luck with your move there and thanks for watching!
I'd be happy to trade places with you from California. The cost of living, high taxes, and politics might have you moving back to AZ in no time 😅
I have a general question in case anyone on here knows the answer. Looking at homes in the gilbert/mesa area (in CA right now) and I noticed that all of them are electric stoves but the water tanks seem to be gas. Is there a reason why gas ranges aren't prevalent?
Thanks for the nice ride. I miss Arizona. Do you have a video of downtown Phx?
Yes, here's a video of Downtown Phoenix: ruclips.net/video/PmhcPRSsbX4/видео.html
I LIVE IN AHWATUKEE FOOTHILLS AND LOVE MY COMMUNITY! MOVED HERE 25 YEARS AGO FROM MICHIGAN AND DON'T REGRET IT FOR A MINUTE!!!! I LOVE THE MOUNTAINS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!!
Glad you're still happy here! Love the scenery in Ahwatukee!
dude it's looking so cool over there😍.... just wanna pass my holidays in Phoenix but it's way to far away😭 maybe sometime I can get over there
Hope you can make it happen one day and make a visit. Thanks for watching!
i noticed you cut all the stop signs in guadalupe. you reminded me why i love it here. thanks
Very appreciate Mesa is not mentioned in the discrimination
@NeightriX MuziK Mesa, especially north east Mesa has very nice and pretty pricey neighborhoods. On the other hand, you have areas of Mesa west of Gilbert RD that are older and in some cases, seedy and worn. So you get all incomes and many walks of life there. however, when it comes to crime, the city of Atlanta, Georgia has an almost identical population as well as area. The biggest difference between the 2 are crime stats. According to bestplaces.net , here are the violent crime stat comparisons : Mesa, AZ: 19.3, Atlanta, GA: 55.3 and overall US average: 22.7... Property crime stats: Mesa, AZ: 37.6, Atlanta, GA: 75.4 and overall US average: 35.4
Those kids are so cute
Thank you!
Nice video .. I'm actually from Guadalupe I moved out to Ahwatukee when I was in my early twenties and then I moved to Chandler I bought a house.... but it does remind me that I'm very blessed now.... and where I came from...
It’s always good to appreciate the journey from where you’ve been to where you are now. Thanks for the comment!
Guadalupe is a very interesting place (at least to an outsider). I have been to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
@@georgesealy4706 I still have family there I still have my sister and cousins and aunts and uncles but one thing I do know is there's a lot of drug use there it's all horrible...
I'm from Mesa moved to Chandler n I have fam in Guadalupe
I live in Surprise Arizona. My choices would be Gilbert, Chandler, ahwatukee Phoenix and Tempe. Tempe is more for the younger kids.
@Czr S As far as Tempe is concerned, the closer to ASU campus you are for the most part correct. So, the farther you go south away from campus, the less the area appeals to the college age students. So, in a nutshell, Tempe works for all ages. Funny enough, a luxury retirement mid rise condo is under construction on Mill and Ash avenues in DT Tempe. Apparently most of the condo units already have buyers. These are for retirees that prefer to live in a more urban environment. So, there are exceptions even in this case. :)
@@crazeyjoe I agree. Just Tempe is probably the hipster City.
@@czrs85 You are much more likely to find "hipsters" near the ASU campus. Once you get further from campus, there are a lot of home owners who are working class families and in far south Tempe, a number of neighborhoods are high income areas. To a point, you can find hipsters in just about any urban or suburban areas of the US. however, you are most likely to find hipsters in DT Tempe or in Old Town Scottsdale.
@@crazeyjoe like I said ,Tempe would be my last choice. He is talking overall city not sections.
What are schools like
Hey greetings from chandler it’s a great place to live in my opinion love the east valley
Have you been to Maricopa City?
No, I have not been there yet.
@@LivinOurDreamz cool. i would love to see you do a video
I plan on moving to AZ June 2020 and have been flooding myself with videos. I see a lot of videos in favor and also a ton who say they hate it. My job will be transferring to Scottsdale but it’s too expense.. any suggestions on a more affordable suburb close to Scottsdale?
Try Tempe. The surrounding areas of Scottsdale can also be pricey, so Tempe is probably going to be as close as you’re going to get and still be more affordable. I would not land too close to the University (ASU) as you’ll find more crime in that area (mainly rowdy college student related stuff and property crime).
Mesa is going to be your best bet.
I live in South Chandler and love it. Hop on the 101 north and get to Scottsdale. Yes traffic on weekdays on the 101 but MUCH cheaper than Scottsdale and the houses a tad nicer and newer in Chandler than Tempe. Ocotillo is my area..golf courses and lakes! :)
awesome video as always...thank you.
Good to hear! Thanks.
NW Peoria just seems a little more scenic and spacious as you have mountains, I was in chandler yesterday it’s very flat and lacks any profile. The Happy Valley in Peoria is the next big boom. It’s already started, Lifetime just announced a 120,000 sq ft facility and it’s amazing views up there and houses are 25k less.
Arizona native 🌵🙋🏽♀️. Just moved to Minnesota where my fiancé is from. Grew up in Phoenix. My favorite places are Sedona, flagstaff and Gilbert.
That’s quite the transition going from AZ to Minnesota! Thanks for leaving a comment and for watching!
Really cool, ahwatukee foothills was so nice.
Ahwatukee definitely is nice. Thanks for watching!
You missed all the great parts of Downtown chandler all the great restaurants bars and art on the walls
It was an impromptu joy ride that day. Didn’t really have anything specific to show in mind and decided last minute to film it for a video.
Now I'm looking for a house
..FOUND ONE...YEA....
Nice!
Glad to see your back sir and yes I've been here almost 7 months now.Oh Go ND hahaha
Lol! 7 months already? How are you liking it?
Hi great video! I'm from Guadalupe Arizona I believe at the time you were filming our Easter ceremonies were going on that's probably why you didn't show the catholic Churches we have. But thanks for showing our little community very culturally diverted. People see us as a bad town be we are not alot of good people live here! God bless you!!
I was passing through and thought it would be cool to show, as it’s a part of the Phoenix Valley a lot of people may not be very familiar with. Maybe one day I’ll come back and show the churches! Thanks for watching and glad you liked the video!
From these videos, AZ seems to have a similar vibe to California but cheaper. Would you agree? I've been to CA but never AZ.
Yes, I would agree with that. And we have a lot of Californians moving here so that also has an impact.
Yes Arizona is California with no water lol I actually think if Arizona had water it would be even more beautiful than California
I'm thinking of relocating to AZ, I've always wanted to live in CA but can't afford it. I figured AZ was a good compromise and the more research I do, the more I like it. The only difference that will take a while to get used to is not having an ocean nearby.
Becca Ray yep!

Arizona is way better place to live there’s a lot of beauty here I love living in Arizona I wouldn’t want to live in California but it is a nice place to visit
Nice shopping dining options val vista in Gilbert, chandler Blvd mall area, ray road towards the 10.
Hey Arizona dreams by far this video here is my favorite one that you’ve done so far but I do love all the other ones too but I liked this one the best. Between you and desert dweller debs I look forward everyday for you guys videos so please keep them coming because within another year and half I’ll be moving there for good thanks a million for the content peace!!!!✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾 YABOYKEITH
I’m glad you like this one. Good thing I decided to record it at the last minute. Lol Appreciate you following the channel and I’m sure the countdown to moving here is pretty exciting for you!
It's so beautiful out there! I'm in Rochester, NY and woke to SNOW in late April!! Two more months and we are out of here! Can't wait to get to AZ!!!!!!!! Great Video.
I don't miss those late season snowfalls. Good luck with everything and congrats on the move (get ready for some Summer heat though). lol
I see you got your "summer" haircut. It's a smart move, and it looks good on you.
Thanks for the rolling tour!
Kind regards,
T.

Appreciate the compliment. I usually do a buzzcut this time of year but thought I'd try something different. lol Thanks for watching!
Lol you just passed by where I live in Chandler
I live in Scottsdale, but my next favorite is Gilbert... It's beautiful and safe!
Gilbert is awesome. Thanks for watching!
Man, it's some beautiful out there! Can't wait for me and my family yo move out there to Gilbert, in the year 2021! We are excited! Thanks for sharing all of you and your adventures! Your kids are so adorable!
I met to say it so beautiful lol
Thanks! I'm sure you'll enjoy Gilbert. Happy to have you following the channel during your countdown to the move!
Arizona Dreamz thanks!!! We are extremely excited about it!
Hi, are all 3 of your kids melinated?
Do you know what area is most populated with Hispanics??
The foothills look so pretty & peaceful! You have a beautiful family!!
Thanks!
How long of a drive is it from end to end?
Maybe 40 minutes. It's a guess because I wasn't paying much attention to the time.
Arizona Dreamz thanks. That’s awesome!
Can you do a best city/county in AZ for off grid living?
I'll look into it and see if I can come up with something on that.
It probably would be show low, herber, pinetop, Miami and pinetop lakeside.
We're moving there from Eureka, CA, but we're from Elk Grove/Laguna which is south of Sacramento. Gilbert and Chandler look so much like Elk Grove/Laguna area. If I had been told this was a Laguna video I would have believed them. I should say minus the hills.😀
