@@hannahsenior5124 tell that to the Safeway that burned to the ground a few years ago. The transition from Monsoon to Fall is the killer, a giant swath of north valley, including my home was damaged heavily by two freak hail/wind/rain events Oct 2010 that I have not seen occur anywhere else on video. There was almost no air to breath, we were inside of the part of a thunderstorm that is usually 20,000 feet high, it was about 200 feet high, I still hate thinking about what I saw out my window. Allstate declared a disaster support structure for it, every roof fir tens of miles replaced. It was actually a blessing for me financially as I really needed a new roof.
@@evankeal I'm talking about where I live in Arizona you idiot, you do understand that parts of a state can be different when it comes to weather right?
I'll bet your dad knows my mom, everyone in Winslow practically does she's just really friendly and likes everyone. She just turned 84 and worked for the Santa Fe railroad for 20 years and retired then worked at walmart and retired from there to. Ask your dad if he knows Nixie.
@@DawnNLN-ee2kh What bothers me most about the snowbirds here are those roving gangs of elderly ladies who attack fit young men with warning, stealing our wallets and (if they can get by with it) our Buicks. They're just blue-haired punks.
These are pretty interesting. I've been in AZ my entire life and another amazing thing here, if you don't mind a ton of tourists, is Sedona and Jerome. Sedona is absolutely beautiful. And Jerome is a wonderful ghost town and it has ,if I'm correct, the 2nd most haunted place in the state, The Grand Jerome Hotel.
A really nice video! I moved to New Mexico from the east in 1990 and I still reside here. If I did it all over I would have move there instead. I'm a desert person and I feel that Arizona is so much more picturesque than NM in that respect. To make it even better it's a red state and it doesn't follow the daylight savings time B.S.!
hannah senior Well, I have a house and I'm relatively planted here in NM, however, I live very close to the NM/AZ state line and I can enjoy AZ whenever I want....just a hop, skip, and a jump for me.
Great video! I was born in PHX and still live here 40 years later! I am so grateful you and your family enjoyed AZ! I learned a lot of fun things about my homestate in your video! Thank you!
Thank you for showing us what outstanding and attractive locations exist in Arizona! Quite a hiker's haven, but there's something for every taste, it seems. Beautiful!
I was born in Colorado and moved there when I was 2 and moved back when I was 5 when I was 9 we moved back to AZ then moved back to Colorado when I was 13 and have been in Colorado ever since. When I’m finally able to leave the house I’m moving back to AZ! Sorry Colorado maybe when I have kids lol
Shaylee Geiser prepare for your 70 to 90° summer turn to 120° Summers. Oh and your crazy energy bills! Prepare for your crazy drivers ( although Colorado getting crazier drivers because people are moving to Colorado) oh and also prepare for your summers transfer to Falls to look like nothing there’s no leaf 🍁 cleave changing’s it’s nothing everything just dies! And the pool stay closed the majority of the year they are open for like five months out of the year! Ummm what else.... And prepared not to see any cowboys no pointy cowboy shoes no hats nothing!!! Prepare to see a lot of horses walking down your street if you live next south mountain or somewhere- well anywhere actually... ummmm.... Let’s see... Prepare for palm trees to become the pain in the butt! when you talk about them don’t brag about them how you never see then in Colorado because its ...well Colorado... If you do talk about them make sure you know what breed of Palm trees 🌴 you’re talking about I believe there over 13 kinds of palm trees? Oh and most importantly don’t freak out when you see a scorpion or spider or a rattlesnake! Prepare to see a lot of huge ass cock roaches!!!! Oh and most of the Mexican food is disgusting so is a Chinese food pho 🍲 is also really girls out there for some reason and prepare for there to be no good green chili.... Stay clear of the dirty water parks that’s all there is to do out there besides the green Canyon.... (That was also my rant lol)

I never liked eegees, personally. Was always sad when the class pizza party turned into a class eegee party because of popular demand. Regardless, I'm still proud of the fact that we have Eegees, and no one else does. 😂
Ive lived here for 40 years and love the outdoors and Ive only been to the Grand Canyon once in my life. My favorite areas are anywhere on the Mogillon Rim. The Sonoran Desert is beautiful as far as deserts go but I HATE it here 6 months out of year. You can't experience anything outdoors during half the year because its over 100 degrees and June, July are 110-120 degrees. Its a nightmare. Nov-Feb are the only months that are enjoyable and you can actually get out and not die of heat stroke in the first 10 min. Oh and Sedona is full of spiritistic hippy weirdos that think the rocks talk to them
Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting! Like I said in the video, I love Arizona. It's awesome! The heat, however, would get to me as well. Do a lot of people in Arizona travel to mountainous regions with cooler weather during summer months just to get out of the heat? I'm asking because it's something I think I'd do! lol I live in the Tennessee Valley and a lot us do that around here in the summer. We head for the mountain creeks or lakes and cool evening breezes. But even in this region there are about two months out of the year that you just can't escape it. But it doesn't compare with your region at all when it comes to heat. It's funny when people say, "but it's a dry heat." 105 is hot regardless!
@@BillMarion That's funny to me that you said that about their heat. I live just west of Atlanta, so I know we both experience some miserable humidity! While visiting the west, I walked about a mile when it was about 100° around 6pm and never broke a sweat. Granted it wasn't midday in overhead sunlight, but there have been days in GA just walking from my front door to the car and I'm already "clammy". For me personally, that's much more miserable! You feel dirty right after a shower. Yuck! ...again I don't live the AZ life, so my 2 cents are worth 2 dead flies I suppose. LOL

Only killer in AZ is the drivers….
Born and raised in Winslow Arizona the greatest state in the union! I've been all over the world and have never found a better place to live.
Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching!
My dad worked in Winslow for 10 years. He really liked that quiet little town. Eventually he found work back where we lived in Phoenix though.
I'll bet your dad knows my mom, everyone in Winslow practically does she's just really friendly and likes everyone. She just turned 84 and worked for the Santa Fe railroad for 20 years and retired then worked at walmart and retired from there to. Ask your dad if he knows Nixie.
I was born in Winslow....👍
“Standing on a corner of Winslow Arizona” haha
I love my Arizona❤🌵🌞
I am from Arizona, thanks for visiting and putting together the video
Born and raised in the great state of Arizona!!! Great video!!!
I'm debating moving to arizona. Seems like a good state
Love Arizona! Hate the snowbirds.
Thanks for watching!
Jetski Jay We SNOWBIRDS hate the AZ natives too, ! But without us, YOU would STARVE to death! Ripoff artists thrive on snowbirds in the winter!!
LMAO I'm 5th Generation Natice and I hate to say it but you are right. A lot of income does come from Snowbirds. I don't hate y'all though
@@DawnNLN-ee2kh What bothers me most about the snowbirds here are those roving gangs of elderly ladies who attack fit young men with warning, stealing our wallets and (if they can get by with it) our Buicks. They're just blue-haired punks.
They hate you too.
Blink-182 Geek I've been to that hotel.
Wow so amazing I love it I get to learn much more
I live in Arizona and I learned facts about Arizona I didn’t know from your wonderful show, very educational and interesting ! 👍👍👍👍👍
Arizona is amazing! Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment!
velvet911pk why can't you move there now?
hannah senior
Well, I have a house and I'm relatively planted here in NM, however, I live very close to the NM/AZ state line and I can enjoy AZ whenever I want....just a hop, skip, and a jump for me.
I am born, raised, and currently a resident of Arizona. I am proud of it.
Georgia Ayres same.
Thx for showing me some things I knew and stuff that I didn’t know from Arizona and I live in Arizona
Thanks for watching!
Hailing from Arizona, this video was a breath of fresh air.
Awesome! Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting! (If you saw this before the edit, I had a terrible typo).

Third generation here... my grandmother was born in Mesa in 1917.
Love Colorado too!!!!! Thanks so much for watching!
I Live in Colorado and can’t wait to move to Arizona
PurpleTigerCat yes very aware of all of that my grandparents live there to me there are more pros than cons and it really depends on who you are and what you can stand
Shaylee Geiser plan to move out there when I’m on my own I like Colorado but it’s out of my budget and I find it more nice with the Weather I like a the head more then the cold
Nice presentation Bill It moves along too I really like that
Thanks for watching!
Bill
for probably the three billionth time i'm from Arizona! great video and i'm glad you like our state
Well, we love your state! Again...lol Thanks for watching...again! lol
You neglected to mention that we also have the largest contiguous pine forest in the world. And isn't the Mazatzal Wilderness the biggest?
Doz Altair I’m not sure if “neglect” is the right word! Lol If I added another fact we’d have to rename the video! Thank you for watching and commenting!!!
Arizona i love az im from los angeles but i live in az now so i can support videos like this one can u do a texas video plz
juana chain I’d love to make a Texas Video! Texas is an amazing state! Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
You where talking about state parks but you should of brought up the only state memorial in Arizona , The one outside of Yarnell in memory of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots . I haven't made the hike in yet on the trail they made but I do make the stop to the trailhead when I heading back home to Yuma from Prescott
I need to check into that! Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching!
Really appreciate and enjoy your video! Keep it up!
Carol Brewbaker thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
I'm from AZ! Iove it here too. Great video!
Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
We also got eegees and in and out
I never liked eegees, personally.
I have lived in AZ for about 30 years and the Summer heat is my favorite season of the year.
LOL
@@DivaInTheWoods It's not as bad here in Virginia as it was in Chattanooga! The air didn't seem to want to move at all! lol
My Dads side of my family is from Arizona Mainly the Verde Valley. Still a lot of them there
Great video! I’m from the Kingman area. Glad you enjoyed your visit to Arizona!!Lake Havasu City with the actual London Bridge is a great place to visit. We also have a HUGE crater in Arizona. I think it was a filming location for starman. Always something new to see here!
My family visited Phoenix and ended up staying for 44 years. Love Arizona
And I can look out my living room window and see the Chiricahua Mountains every day.
That's pretty awesome! Thanks for watching!
You're welcome. I like the whole state. I and I live in the state of confusion. :)
Have wanted to go to the "Island in the Sky" for a while now.
check your facts. Saguaro grow all over the southern part of the stater from a ways north of Phoenix south. not just in the park.
lol, I've addressed this in many many other comments. You are correct. I GOOFED! I hope to fix it in another video I"m releasing called, "All the things I got wrong about Arizona!" Still, I love the state! I'm thankful you watched and thanks for the comment!
It is the only state that sports Saquaro....they do grow south of the border in Mexico...
True. They only grow in the Sonoran desert, which goes into Mexico.
I'm in phx.. Love video.. I would not live any where else. Full arizona res..
Thank you so much for watching and thanks for your comment!
Bill
I am Arizonan and I loved your video! Thank you!!
Glad you like the state i live in. From Mesa AZ, We all say thanks for showing some of the treasures Arizona. Many different climates and wonders for different tastes in the state. If you get out of the cities you find many amazing sites and things to do.
AZ is the best state everyone is moving here now
