    My brother had a cochlear implant in a totally deaf ear (scuba diving accident) with tinnitus. He now amazingly has some hearing in that ear , but unfortunately his tinnitus has remained. Fortunately though his perception of that tinnitus is easier to deal with now that there is some natural sounds to focus on.

    I believe the people i got my hearing aids made adjustments that destroyed my hearing and made my tinnitus worse. Is this possible. If someone knows, please let me know. Autologous told me hearing aids can not damage your hearing. It's not going too change anything, but i would like too know.

    I wondered if the cochlear implant could help hyperacusis/nocicusis if you have tinnitus but no hearing loss?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  6 месяцев назад

      It could help with the direction of an audiologist! Counseling and exposure to sounds are the two important tools to help with hyperacusis.

    Much too invasive of a procedure for something mildly neurologically based. Tinnitus ranges from musicians to danger pay activities. You learn to live with it. This is way too invasive.
