New subscriber❣️Love your content as I love plants, all flowers, & working outside although since I’m older, 74, the heat gets to me & I can’t work outside like I’d love to. I’ve always thought that a pretty yard makes a house & you have beautiful areas. Catching up & watching all your videos. Oh, BTW, I’m from piedmont area of NC but currently live in SC.
The Obelisks needed a rust-proof painting. Otherwise, the metal would become pitted after a while. Your container-plant selection looks fantastic! Thank you for remembering our Heroes who sacrificed their lives so that America could remain free. Cheers
Maybe star jasmine…I find Clematis to be a very finicky and unreliable plant. It does best with some foliage to rest upon from another plant to absorb the sun and heat, and hide the vines. The flowers are fabulous for certain.
Just found your videos, love them! Your content is great, plus your voice is very soothing, (I have a hard time sleeping so I listen to you, keep up the good work!) 'I garden in central Florida zone 9b, Are you close to Creekside Garden? Sorry fpr rambling!
These turned out beautifully. You say tomato I say tomatto. So much advise on pronunciation... seriously!!!! This was about updating and replanting some great porch pots. The obelisks are amazing. The guy was an artist for sure. Nicely done.
When you next need to paint them, try suspending them from a tree, swing set, or something. It will give you much more ease and allow you to see all surfaces more easily.
Very nice job. Actually Memorial Day is for those who died in service to the country. Veterans Day is to give a nod to all those soldiers who came home from the war and are still with us today. I cringe when people say happy Memorial Day because it is not a happy time for those who lost their family member or friend killed in action.
Subscribed after catching your accent and you said your in NC. I’m in Pittsboro. Love the obelisks. How can I purchase items from this artist? Thank you for sharing and looking forward to more NC videos.
Nancy…I am glad that you mentioned it. It is important to note that if you spray plants and lawn will oil based paints like Rustoleum you will kill them so tarps are really important. Love your ideas Grayson!
I love the obelisks; wish I could find some. Watching from Charlotte, NC.
Thanks so much. Another Fellow North Carolinian.
Just found your channel. I absolutely love your obelisks!😍
Thank you. A local Artisan, in my area, made those. i love them too. Thanks for your comment and welcome to my channel.

I appreciate it.
Enjoyed this video....beautiful obelisks! Greetings from BC Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you for your comment
They look great. Amazing what a coat of paint can do to refresh things (and protect them).
Thank you. I agree.

Thank you for your kind words.
Those obelisks are so awesome! 😍
Thank you!
Beautiful work. Btw, I think the obelisks are meant to be a trellis. They'd be beautiful with a vine like clematis covering them in the summer.

Thanks John. Clematis would be beautiful

Thank you. That's a great idea.
I like the black finish too.

I see what you mean. Thank you for explaining the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
I never thought about this before, equating one to the other. Duh, on me!
Wish I had someone at my home who knew and had the ambition to do such things. At 84 it is hard to tackle such projects myself anymore. Good job!
I like that you didn’t unload the dirt in these, maybe I can get after mine by myself.
@@dianeweeks352 I see what you mean. Thank you Diane
Oh yes black is great for them

Thanks so much. The Local Artisan has retired from what i understand.
What color did you spay on the pots after the primer
Rust-oleum Painters touch. The Color is called Fossil
@Gardening with Grayson can you please share where this oblisk was purchased from? Its gorgeous!!! 💚
Thank you. They are beautiful works of art. The Artisan has retired from what i was told.
Set a good example by using a tarp when spray painting. Otherwise insects and birdlife are a risk from toxins on the grass.
Thanks for the tip. i will keep that in mind.

Sir, very very wary of what ivy you choose and keep a tight rein on it! It will do what you suggested, but can become a terrible nuisance.
So true Carole
Please wear a mask when you spray paint.
Thank you. You're absolutely right.
Ob- lis- ks pronounce
Thank you
No. Aw-buh-lusk check the dictionary hun
Please don’t repeatedly say „more happier“!! It makes me cringe every time…..
I see what you mean. I'll make note of that. Thanks
