"There once was a man who lived a life so strange, it had to be true. Only he could see what no one else can-the darkness inside, the real monster within, and he's the one who must stop them. This is his calling. This is his duty. This is the life of a Grimm."

To kill for pleasure defines a bad, evil man. This was Eric. From Sean Renard everyone was waiting to do something in their interest. Even his mother wanted Sean to kill Eric (for good reason, but Sean to solve it). The only one who is not happy about the decision he has made is Renard. He is my favorite from the moment we reveal our motivations (season 1 episode 17) until the end of the series. He is the only character to transform over the course of six seasons, because of the decisions he makes.
How it turned out later, Eric was the best of the Royals.
dude i adore those scenes
i re-watch grimm over and over because its just amazing show, but i remember the first time seeing these mystery scenes and the gave me always goosebumps and still do
gosh they could do so much more with renard and the family's, there is INSANE potential, effortless enough for a whole season but sadly they ended grimm too soon, but thank god the show runners are competent, this is the only show i know of that is rushed but still awesome and epic(really rare, just look at game of thrones for example, horrible)
just a masterpiece
That's some family drama right there
If NBC added a spinoff of Grimm on their streaming service I would instantly subscribe just to watch it.
ayy
I NEED A REBOOT!! I feel like if there was a reboot so many people would watch it and it would do really well

Hasta ese momento de verdad creí que Nick y el capitán podían ser grandes amigos pero se fue todo al carajo con la Garra negra
They did a messy job by
giving this finale that was wrong from any aspect. I do understand as the
producers and writers stated , that they did not have budget and time to close
Grimm and NBC gave them13 more episodes to close it. But they did it in the
wrong way. it would be better not finishing it at all and doing its ending in
the wright way in the future. If you look at what actors of the show said after
the end of season 6 , they stated that the viewers may not like the ending (S.
Wu and Monroe), and some others were also disappointed by the epic Battle
saying that wasn' t that epic (As you will read at the interview of the
producers and writers at the link below). They gave us a hasty ending in order
to satisfy their funs . The ultimate evil and its weapon are not clear to the
viewers the ultimate battle is a disappointment, giving us a battle with a
destroyer and the Grimm family( Nick, Kelly and Aunt Marrie and Trouble) it
would be better to give us a real battle with the seven Grimm Knights fighting
the ultimate evil(the Destroyer). And giving us a great finale with an epic
battle. All in all, leaving aside the apocalyptic part of it, or they could
create their own apocalypse but leaving aside the theological and Biblical
part. Because Nick was never able to use the Staff even at the very end , thus
it is only wright that the key to destroy the Destroyer are the 7 Grimm knights
and no one else. They started it and the should have finished it, and according
to the show they were the best Grimm ever. Nick without help could not live up
to them, lets not forget the several times that he rest of the heroes of the
show saved his life proving that he was not the most powerful species and that
there were wesen more powerful than Nick, with fist example the Zauberbiest
Bonapart( which was the most powerful wesen in Grimm) ,and the Zingbarst. This
way they are showing that Nick was not able to kill them on its own with
Seigbarste being only able to be killed with a specific gun and fired by Monroe
with Nick liying at the hospital. Thus the all mighty Grimm was not the most
powerful in theory.Bonapart could killed Nick at least three times if he wanted
he almost made a statue out of Adaline and mortaly wounded Eve. The only way
for Bonapart to be killed was in the sneaky way that Renard did it. All in all
the Grimm (Nick) fought courageously but there were more powerful wesen than
him, because even though he had in his veins the blood of the first knight
Grimm he wasn’t as powerful as them or as his mother. was. That is another
contradiction of the show. Don forget that a Grimm could be killed in the show,
after all several Grimms were killed by wesen doing the beating of the Royals.
Once again this is a contradiction of the script not of the actors. Even though
it was not obvious for many i understood from the very beginning that Nick and
Juliet were a real couple and out of the show (if you like you can search it
the got married after the end of the show). The house of Nick and Juliet in the
show became a real brothel. We saw orgies, couple swinging (even if was not
contious). Renard kissed Juliet several times in it(under the influence of
magic). This house was broken down several times, and was even mocked by Keneth
of the royals and implied that was a brothel, and said to Nick's face that you
cheated her on that bed. This is not wright by script , it abased the show and
Nick once again he seems very small in our eyes. In general the show took the
downfall when Juliet became a Hexenbiest and because of her Kelly died and Nick
was forced to try to kill her in the very same house that they lived in for
years. The actors also said that the scene of Nick trying to straggle Juliet
was so real that Juliet (the actress) was wearing a collar for days in order to
hide the bruises. Another contradiction , of the show is that Juliet and Nick
were ment for each other, and she was very supportive of Nick when she found
the truth. She was a regular loving girl and became a powerful vindictive beast
over a night because of the spell of Adalinde who turned against Nick. It was
crazy and unrealistic to make a character like Julia to become what she become.
The tried to show as a Juliet more powerful than Adalinde and even Nick.
Adalind could be killed by Nick when she made the spell on Hanck but Nick spare
her life in order to save Hank proving that he was more powerful than Adalinde.
Of course she became more powerful when she got her powers back with the ritual
but she was weaker in front of Eve.
I think the hexenbiest/zauberbiest faction just overall became more powerful as the show went on and they kept giving them more abilities to the point that they became OP and the most powerful wesen in the series by far. I also think that this was a byproduct of them also being the most interesting and conventional of the wesen. Not everyone is familiar with some of the more esoteric creature lore on the show but everyone knows and understands witches. They became to Grimm what vampires were to the Buffyverse.
I don't know about you. But I loved Eric. I think almost everyone hate him.
I sort of liked him and hated him at the same time; he was clever, he had style and class ... in a evil sort of way (kind of remind me of Scar, from "the lion king" or Hannibal Lecter). But he was a bit too sadistic (like when he gladly sacrificed one of his own men for seeing Baron Samedi in action). He also had a certain stuck up, snobbish attitude ... even slightly racist or perhaps nationalist (demonstrated when he compared Austria great achievements of the past against the American culture).
Renard on the other hand, even if he showed the same greed and lust for power of his half brother behaved in a more "noble" way, even when he was at his worst moment when he joined the Black Claw; he was more than willing to get rid of Nick, all his friends and any other that would stand in his way but he couldn't stand to see people suffering (unless with a very good reason) and he would rather have them to die quickly and painlessly (like when he shot Meisner for ending his suffering under Bonaparte's torture).
So, to tell the truth, I can't actually decided which of the two half brothers I like more but I think Renard is my favorite... at least if you are on his black list you would most likely die quickly while Eric would most likely choose to see you suffering an excruciating long death (most likely anticipated by a hellish torture) and enjoy every single moment of it like if he was listening to an opera at the Wiener Staatsoper!
How it turned out later, Eric was the best of the Royals.
Quand t'es que le nouveau saison va sortir
Thus, it is crazy and unbelievable to think that Juliet who became a
Hexenbiest by Adalinde could have more power than both of them. Juliet as
Hexenbiest was so powerful that she took out a Manticore , somethink that not
even Nick could. That was shown to my eyes as a false lie and the show go
beyond realistic limits. Not to mention the power of telekinesis of a large
statue that was never mentioned as Hexenbiest power. This was another down fall
point of the show and lost viewers. This is not believable and false in the
scenario. Not to mention that after her death from Trouble and her rebirths as
Eve we never saw her training in order to become as mighty and powerful as the writers
tried to make us believe. It is not possible for Maisner (who is my favourite
character because he was a simple guy not a wesen or a Grimm but he fought with
the strength of its mind and body who knew marshal arts with the resistance and
did great achivements as a simple man. And it was he who killed one of the
worst kings ,Renard's and Eric's dad on its own And became the head of the
resistance and when they attached the headcouorters of the resistance he fought
all alone. He was a born leader and trained Eve and Trouble.) It is not
belivable once again and the scenario has once again gaps. Not to mention that
we never learnd why Eve got that name (is it from the first woman on earth? or
not) , nor how and by whom she was trained,. The only think that the saw us was
a small clip that Maisner got at Eve's room hold her hand and tried to teach
her to controll hershelf and that was all the training that we saw. The actress
that played Juliet was never believable as Eve she was portraied as a robot and
even though she stayed at the show she could easily be absent. And consequently
when Nick lost Juliet started to lose a part of the Nick of the firts seasons.
He looked like he was forced to play a role that he wasn t 100 per cent in it.
He seemed rather lost from that point on his acting was below average. His
relationship with Adalinde because of their child . They were acting and that
was shown clearly if you pay close attention .Nick looked uncomfortable with their
own skin. It didn't came natural to him, and he looked as he was forced to do
it. The rest of the cast besides Hank played their role to the fullest and they
were great in their acting from the beginning until the end of the show, with
Monroe and Rosalee looking as a real couple. The worst fault of the script is
the use of Diana as wonder child with great powers and tried to make her the
star of the show with unlimited powers getting in the mind of her father and killing
Bonapart, killing her dad's mistress on its bed, she was the only one who could
make Nick look like Nick when no one else could with the spell Nick made to
look like Renard, and she also spotted Eve when she was down in the basement of
Nick's house, she could teleportation herself and everyone was afraid of her .
This shows lack of inspiration from the writers part and was a big mistake of
him that ruined in a way the show, probably because the script is almost
demonic and that says something aboyt its creator. Diana became according to
the script Devil's bride in order to rule the world. Open your eyes and understand
the feasibility of Diana having superpowers being the child of a Hexenbiest and
a half Zawberbiest ,which is no other
than the ruling of the Devil on earth with Diana. Which would be the fist ending
of the show with the characters that we loved being dead. As you will see once
again in the interview below. But thanks to the funns they changed it. Nonetheless
the ending reminds us little of the Grimm of the first four sessions. With this
ending the writers and the producers showed their preferences and their true believes
, if that agrees with you suit yourshelf. All i wanted was for you to open your
eyes and point out the gaps and faulses of the script. As a greek that i am, i
have one more reason to watch that show because Greek myths were mentioned like
the episode mentioning the God Dyonisis or the Hifestious who was an ancient
God, the story of the gold coins of Rodos that traveled to Portland and the
Greek myth of Kalikansaros and many more , along with the first Grimm knights
traveling to Byzantine Constantinople and opening Pandoras Box in it with the
story of the Staff starting there . As a greek i have to say that they praised
us and our past achievements and legends. I hope season seven to be worthy of
the beginning of the show and worth waiting for and not to repeat the mistakes
of season six. And why not , showing us the story or more of the life of the
Seven knight Grimms. Once again in concluding this show , was magical it made
me travel with my mild in the Portland of the Grimm, and it was the reason that
i was shut from the real world in order to finish it.I loved it more than any
other show and i will never forget it . My favorite episode was that of
Hifestious the Mouse king the tree like wesen the Golem witch was amazing and
realistic. Some of you may think that i accuse the show, or that i dislike the
show, something that is not true, because as i said i loved it. The only reason
for this comment is to point out the downfall point , gaps, and mistakes of the
script at the two last seasons, because i believe in that show with all my hurt
i didn't want it to end. I hope that i helped some of you understanding the end
that they tried to described us as a non real battle placed in another dimension.
That is not true the final battle took place in our dimension and it didnt had
the end that the writers intend which is non other than for the characters to
die. Thank you for your time!

well said!
For those who want to know
the reason why the series did not end right and took the downfall read my comment
and if i am wrong do correct me .In my opinion, even though they tried to show
us at the end of the series the Apocalypse (according to Renalrd 's Russian
friend, and what Rosalees said when she mention that apocalypse will come at
the 24th of March) , in fact they failed to do so because Renard's friend said
that the Devil will come and take Diana as his bride , and that Diana will give
him an ear in order to rule the world. In fact that 's not true , and it is morally
and theologically wrong for the writers of the show to create their own
Apocalypse that has nothing to do with what the Bible describes as the
Apocalypse. All the more they used a child in order to create their finale
which is once again morally wrong. In fact it is criminally punishable , to use
theological words to an apocalypse of their creation .They are making this way
an hybris and soon will come their nemesis from above, because they have no
wright nor to use theological vocabulary, like Apocalypse or sacred scripts. To
be honest the last few episodes of season six went to far and away from what
Grimm was all about at the beginning of the show. I get that the writers, the
producers and the fanatics of the show way not give a damn about such delicate
and secret matters like Christian Orthodox religion, because they believe at
nothing, but their are others that care because that kind of things are sacred
and blessed by God. You might wonder why i am telling you these .Despite your
religion and beliefs, and the answer is that i want to open your eyes and mind
and do not blindly believe what they are showing to you. I have solid proof for
what i am telling you since in the last two episodes what they shown us as
Apocalypse contradicts what they describe for this event a few episodes back.
Specifically , it is Renards russian friend that mentions that Devil will come
on earth , but it is Monroe who mentions the evil as the destroyer (Zerstorer).
Another thing that is a contradiction in these episodes is the staff of the
Destroyer. This Staff troubles a lot our heroes while they are trying to figure
out what it is, and they are mentioning that it could be the staff of David
(Monroe), or that it is a powerful Staff that has extreme power and was
disassembled in 100 pieces because of its power in order to protect humanity
(Monroe) and Trouble is the only one who mentions that it is maybe the Staff of
Moses which is the correct answer. But the name of the destroyer and the real
name and use of the Staff and what it really is never clearly stated in these
episodes. The only way for the viewers to find out what they really are both
the Staff and the destroyer is for one to read the interview of the producer
and the writers that you will find at a link below. Since the writers and the
producer of the show admit that it is the Staff of Moses, this is blasphemy and
a huge mistake from their part, and they are involving and using one of the
most sacred symbols of Christianity. This staff was made by God to do only good
and only by the hand of Moses. The destroyer using this Staff does only bad
things . He kills and even has the power not only to kill but to bring anyone
to life .According to the Bible since all these happened befor the birth of
Ghrist, this Staff executed the will of God with the 10 plagues of Egypt and
opened the Black sea in half. It is outrageous to use Gods symbol to do bad
things, it is not only wrong but that fact shows demonic intentions it is crazy
and it is not realistic. God would never permit its use from Evil, but even
this could happened the Evil could never be able to use it. It is paranoid and
shows demonic scenario. This is another proof that you are sheeps and believe
what any demonic writer or producer serves you on a platter. You can search if
i am saying anything wrong the Staff of Moses was never used to kill because it
was at the hand of a prophet. But in the show we see the destroyer killing all
of the police department in one move and Nick was the only survivor just
because he had a piece of the Staff (if he didnt have it he would be dead from
the beginning of the season). The Staff of Moses could do specific things like
the 10plaguesof Egypt and open the Black sea in two in order to save the Jewry
from the wrath of Pharaoh. And that means that the Staff had not the abilities
and uses like those of Nick in his battle with Bonapart . And it is such a pity
to ruin with this finale a great and spectacular show like Grimm that is for me
the best tv show that i have ever seen.
First of all I agree with you this is my favorite show of all time. That being said I think you need to get yourself a life
Rosalee was the hottest wesen of all.
