Kiwis tend to take a gap year between school and uni - get a job or go overseas. The idea is to work out what you want to do. I have taken in a lot of young German backpackers and so many of them had gone through uni and were dissatisfied with the topics they chose or after studying went to work for a year and were not happy with their career choices. Don't feel bad for dropping out, if you find you are not enjoying something it's time to do something else if you can afford to. I have had about 20 jobs, anything from financial planning, to selling furniture and running a secondhand charity shop and my own art galleries. I am 62 and now doing my degree in counselling. Keep moving if you don't enjoy what you are doing. We are so blessed to be living in countries where we can and when you are young and without a family or house you are free to move around. Go for it!

Thanks so much for the kind comment🙏 I think i'm figuring it out right now, but I realized that it's one thing to find out what you would like to do in life and another to find something you can make money with in life haha, now I guess I have to either find a way to combine them or make compromises🙈
As a Dutch second year GD student at DAE. I fully agree that Kortrijk absolutely sucks and has no nature to be found haha, Great video, please keep making more :)
