nice. yes, mismatched but compatible furniture adds interest to a room, and implies a long history of inheriting fine pieces from family. 🙂

I just got a pair of tables very similar, a round and rectangle. I've only done one so far but I love it. I plan to make them match as well.

I thought this was a great video. A thorough video. I personally love this paint n color but I'm one that likes textured finishes..they have very limited colors. I hope eventually they make more. I love eclipse black and highland blue especially...ur tables looked fabulous when u got done with them...just beautiful

I am wondering if you got a bad batch of Rustoleum because I have never had that experience with it. No grittiness or lack of coverage. I have used their chalk and milk paints many times. You end result is lovely

I love what you did and how beautiful the tables came out but I'm not a fan personally of milk paint... Especially Rust-Oleum..But these Tables are gorgeous 🥰👍

if patching using wood filler, would you use the shellac, or the water-based poly over the filled areas prior to painting with Milk paint?

Shellac will make the milk paint crackle, so use water based poly in that case.

I hate that paint! Terrible coverage and you have to sand it after every coat.
