Recipe:
Makes 50 grams/1.06 oz

40% sweet almond oil: 20 grams/0.71 oz
35% mango butter: 17.50 grams/1.62 oz
24% beeswax (I have used white beeswax to obtain a white and odourless bar): 12 grams/0.42 oz
1% vitamin E: 0.50 grams/0.02 oz
Optional: up to 1% essential oils, that's about 0.50 grams/0.02 oz to remove from the sweet almond oil amount
Vegan recipe:
44% sweet almond oil: 22 grams/0.78 oz
35% mango butter: 17.50 grams/1.62 oz
20% candelilla wax: 10 grams/0.35 oz
1% vitamin E: 0.50 grams/0.02 oz
Optional: up to 1% essential oils, that's about 0.50 grams/0.02 oz to remove from the sweet almond oil amount

How much of each do you use? Thanks so much for the informative explanations! This recipe sounds great. I’ve done bars before with Shea butter and definitely didn’t love the stickiness of it so I’m excited to try mango butter!

Are you using refined or raw mango butter?

Why you don. T add preservatives ( optiphen)???
As this recipe doesn't contain water, so it's anhydrous, no preservative is needed. Bacterias can live only in watery substances, this bar contains only oils
Also, is the vitamin E oil or concentrate?
70% vitamin E dilution in sunflower oil
Can I use soy wax instead of beeswax?
