I think this was ingenious!! The music, the fade in and out, the humor, and because I live in the USA, I wasn’t aware terrain looked like this in the UK. I’ve been to London and Oxford. This was very scenic. Nice to see you on RUclips again!😎
Now that was creative, entertaining, and impressive. I could see the shear work that went into the filming, not to mention the planning, and editing. The lake district is beautiful. Thanks for all the work to share it with us.
I've only been to the lake district once when I did the Wainwright coast to coast walk but it's a very beautiful place. Helvelen and striding edge were an experience I will never forget.
While I watched I was extacting honey from this years harvest. Had to go change the honey frames every few minutes. Love the way you fade in and out in the beginning. Watched the entire video and enjoyed every minute. I've been following since you put Aslan through her first tunnel! Hope life continues to bring you more joy as you take on your intreped adventures! I'll be watching.
We have a museum just a block away and there is a garden that is cared for by volunteers and the produce is sold on the honor system. Also, a beekeeper who sells the most wonderful honey! We were just wondering how much work is actually involved in that. The only thing I really know is the closer to home, the better when it comes to buying honey. We are happy to buy from her. Do you sell yours? We just paid $15 US for 10 ounces. It's getting more expensive, but still worth it to us. We plan to buy more before the season is over. All the best!
@@ceeceety2320 Hi Tim, this is actually my third season of beekeeping. The first was no harvest, that's the normal. Second season about 20 pounds and that was considable less than hoped for. Got up to 15 hives but, lost most of the bees over winter, probably due to Vorroa Mites. That is the big issue with bees here in the states since the 1990s. Bought more bees this year and have 11 hives that produced only 90 pounds of honey. Yes, it is a LOT of work. Part of that is probably my inexperience. So, I have honey to sell this year in my kitchen right now. Just not sure how I'm going to do that. Honey here is selling for about $8 US a pound. It sure has cost me a WHOLE lot more to get to this point. Probably would not start over now. That said, it is hard to quit at this point. Always hope to do better next year! The home grown honey taste great and I eat it every day. If you should decide to get bees be advised to take a beekeeping class first. It is just the beginning of a very steep learning curve.
I don’t know how you manage everything, the filming is sublime, and the music is so delectable, I shall never tire of you or your videos , thank you. X
Stunning! So nice to have your unique style and content back online. I can't even begin to imagine the hours of editing that when into that, quite apart from setting up all the shots, drone and B roll. Thank you for all the time and energy that must have taken! Another pie might be appropriate!
Thank you so much. I am genuinely delighted to hear you enjoyed the video. In fact the 3 lake district videos are among my favourite ones I've made. A lot of work and passion went into making them. Cheers again,
Rambling in the Lakes used to be a favourite pastime of mine but spinal stenosis has limited my walking to about 25 - 30 metres at a time. Allowing me to join you today means more than you will ever know. Thank you Kevin. Take care. Kindest regards Frank.
Thank goodness you survived the death-defying leap across the “ravine”! My husband and I appreciate your adventures and your sense of humor and feel you are a long distance friend across the pond. Always fun to see you!
Kevin, to me this is your best yet. The beginning where you fade in and out while the scenery remains the same highlights just how transient we are. Also Wastwater is my favourite part of the Lake district.
In the beginning I was a bit disappointed this one wasn’t a canal video, that quickly changed. Absolutely beautiful. Reminded me of Survivorman and Les Stroud.
Just like an old friend that we haven't seen around for a while. Hello Kevin. How great it is to see you after a spell away whilst indulging in life's adventures. Loved the opening sequel to this Vlog. Looking well too. 👍 Keep well and be safe. Until the next time. 😉
You deserve all this beauty Kevin, you really do, I hope it heals your soul. You're an inspiration to many. I once got lost on Scafell but then a brown faced sheep appeared and showed me the way to the summit.
Fantastic video! The technics used are gold standard. Your industry experience really shines in this vlog. Stay well and looking forward to your next vlog.
Well done, well done! This just has to be your most creative production yet. I can only imagine how many hours (or days) this had to have taken. Brilliant.

Wow Kevin!! Some of those landscape and nature sequences were stunning!! Thank you! You obviously haven't wasted the last 18 months of lockup! You've honed your craft sir! Had to watch it again on the big screen.
I found Part 2, first, but therefore, WHERE was Part 1. Much searching later, I found it, and was NOT disappointed. I cycled round the Lake District, in 1971. Slept in ponds, (didn't know that until I woke up in the morning !). I'm actually a Lancashireman by birth, but I treat Cumberland as an Extension of my back yard ! Looking forward to Parts 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. Stu xx
And the artistic quality and humor and music of this video is why I'll be a Country House Gent fan til the day I die
Magic scenery, and the music just suits it perfectly.

One of your best! It is good to see you smiling. Beautiful camera work, beautiful scenery. I wanted to be there with you and yet, there I was.
Cheers Michael.
Kevin, to me this is your best yet. The beginning where you fade in and out while the scenery remains the same highlights just how transient we are. Also Wastwater is my favourite part of the Lake district.
Agreed David. 'We' may all come and go but those ancient mountains and lakes remain, and without our assistance wanted or needed.
Excellent comment Dave.
Lovely country. This lifted my spirits today. Thank you, Kevin.
Great to hear that, Jules. Best wishes
Are you sure you weren’t a professional videographer in your past life? That was pure travelogue genius. Loved the whole thing!
Quite possibly.
Beautiful and peaceful.
Did you play the background music?
I’m just happy you are back!
As usual, just what I needed to destress. Thank you!
I did enjoy that, well worth the wait.
