- At last, after a wait of 5 months, Aslan and I can finally continue our journey along the Lancaster Canal, in Lancashire, England.
Leaving Lancaster, we continue northwards and after a couple of miles, arrive at the famous and impressive Lune Aqueduct.
Continuing on through picturesque countryside (and the continual threat of heavy rain), we pass through Hest Bank and Bolton-Le-Sands.
En-route, I attempt to moor for the night at several spots, only to be thwarted by the unique 'vee-shaped' profile of the canal.
Later and almost giving up on finding a mooring at Carnforth, I stumble upon one remaining spot, and quickly grab it - relieved to have found somewhere to spend the night.

allow me to add mine to the chorus of voices expressing the joy of reunion, at again hearing the long-absent pulse of Aslan's diesel cycling...what a pleasant and calming sound!!! here's hoping for many more days of you and your sturdy vessel exploring the canal system without interruption...

Can you believe this eighty-year-old soon-to-be 81 lady happened to catch one of your videos. I was so intrigued that I went back to the beginning to see how you got started doing this and have slowly been trying to catch up. I'm not very interested in the mechanics but the scenery is amazing. I especially remember seeing the swan in the little babies with her. I find this so interesting thank you for doing this

I grew up in Lancaster, and still visit family there when I can. Really appreciate your affection for the area - your vlogs have made me quite homesick! Spent a lot of my youth walking and cycling along the length of canal between Glasson Dock and Hest Bank and sunk many a pint at the Water Witch. I equally appreciate your understandably hushed views on the 'Rona' and 'totalitarian tip-toe' we are experiencing with which I fully concur. Keep up the fine work Good Sir!

The best part of this channel is the quality of the video and not too much talking --just enough so we can tag along for the ride. I have looked at other Narrowboat youtubers and they frankly talk too much. CHG: keeps calm so we can all enjoy.. Well done as always..
