He kinda had a retirement match scheduled against Barbarian very early 1992 but got canceled - probably by then he was officially released/fired/contract run out.
There was a guy who posted the intro to this match as part of a hand held but despite me trying to private message the guy he never shared the match with us fans.
This was post retirement I think, had to be. He always hated the blonde hair but Vince only saw Dino as a Heel w the dyed blonde hair. Also whenever any of the Montreal/Quebec Heels worked in that province (Dino, Rougeau Bros, Rick Martel) they would work there as faces.
@@rustykuntz94 He retired in 92 There's a promo on here from January of that year which gives context to a few things. Apparently he had a motorcycle accident in July 91 when took him out for a few months and looking at match results, this was his first match back. As for the Montreal face stuff, to add to this, there was also Pierre in 95 and also Jacques Rougeau while in WCW where he beat Hogan in Montreal in 97.
@@peterp2153 it’s hard to believe this guy got murder 😳 I didn’t even know that I thought he was with his family liveing in peace. To stay away from the wrestling business like Macho man did . I just found this out today holy shit . This is for real 😳 😳😳😳😳😳😳
