How did Lawrence get to be such a succesful businessman if nepotism is such a large part of his psychological makeup? He must know how to be ruthless towards employees underperforming. Lance is #1 flat-on-his-face. No pink glasses there.
i think classic "rich dad doesnt see wrong that rich son did but if it was anyone else he'd lynch them alive" situation is at play here far be it for them for ANYONE in their immediate family to be less than good or anything like that, you know? pathetic and sad
They use Mercedes engines in their road cars too. racing helps their brand be seen. as far as f1 trickling down into road cars there isn't much that really does
Yes! AML used to build their own. The most exciting trip any AM ever made was when the engine crossed the road in Newport Pagnell, on a trolley, to meet the car at the other side to be mated. Every V8 had a plaque with the maker’s name on it. If you had to ask for the price, you couldn’t afford one. 1700 build hours for the one car, if it was standard. Which it never was. That’s Aston, the rest is popmusic.
7:58 oh. That explains a lot: look at that parking lot, all squared and sharp. That’s not a sign of a designer willing to work with what he’s got. That’s a sign of someone squared up to tell the world how he wants it to be, and he’s boss. He calls the shots, the buck stops here. Ain’t gonna work, mate. Sorry, not sorry.
I always wonder. How arrogant are we, as a species, to claim we can solve any real life problem with tech? Aston have all the facilities but their upgrades don’t work. RBR seem to have a correlation issue between the sim and irl. Newey hangs on to his pencil and grey matter, smart boy. Mercedes… ouch, but they’re working on it. Promise! And autonomous taxis are pulled of the streets. Government incited webplatforms crash. EVs explode while charging. Chinese EVs, anyway. They’re talking about restricting EVs from parking garages altogether, unless batteries are just about empty. Really practical thinking there, lads! Where do you think I’d want to charge my EV, if I had one? No mate, I’m sticking to craft over gimmicks. I’m done with the bs.
Humbly we agree with you. But its what rumours are coming out of the paddock that might turn it into a reality. Besides the talk is about him coming as a technical director or engineering capacity.
Love it how people make up excuses for being past his used by date even stroll has been out doing him lately now that speaks volumes such is life we get old and get slower no need to make up excuses yeah he is good for an old fella but that’s as far as it goes
Is it just me being overly concerned, or does mr. Krack look emaciated? I’d force him to see a gp if I was in his inner circle. He really doesn’t look healthy.
Nepotism and the double standard are already a red flag of a toxic working environment. It is not the kind of culture that would help propel Aston Martin as a championship contender. But I don't mind if they keep Lance Stroll as long as the team remains irrelevant and in the midfield. It may take a while, but it would only be a matter of time before things within implode. It would be interesting to see what justification Aston Martin fans will produce before they resort to ad hominem.
As long as Lance is behind the wheels, no one will take this team seriously..not even a two times world champion.
That's why Alonso re-signed, right?
He's not behind the wheels, unless he has more than one steering wheel at the same time. And the rest might be your opinion but isn't fact.

There is nothing Astin Martin about the car. They have to buy engines because they can’t build their own. How does this help the brand?

Alpine makes their own engines and that doesn´t help too much.
Funny Aston is associated with Alonso most of the time

Have you checked the parking lots of the other teams? 🤣🤣🤣

Too much talking with no real information.
Humbly, i dont think Binotto is the answer.

Last year didn't happened right?😂
