Did not think I could wear such a shade, but it worked, and I have light skin and have always worn a 1 or 2 neutral in the Dior skin glow and desert beige in Estee Lauder Futurist foundation. I found this to look smooth upon initial application at 8 am in the morning but after work at 4pm my face felt tight. I have dry skin and only prepped my face by wearing a Korean hydrating sunscreen. Maybe I should have used a moisturizer before the sunscreen… The Radiant name is deceptive because it didn’t look radiant to me by the end of the day. Reboot by MUFE feels and looks more hydrating on me. I had high hopes for this, I see Oily Skin enjoying this foundation.
I really like this on you! I use cashmere in the other finish and it actually looks green (neutral with olive undertones, I assume) but after blending and letting it set the match is perfect. I appreciate the work you put into your videos, love you!
I hadn't thought of that, but you could be right, it might be olive! It does seem to settle into a good color - it's the oddest thing. I think these shades are too dark for you, try some lighter shades maybe. Try Linen or Birch. Give them a try even if they seem light, the dry down of this foundation is darker that the initial colour

Did you end up finding your shade? I believe the 240 Quartz (“balanced tone for light medium skin”) would work well for you. I am late to the game but I just tried Alder 230 and it is slightly too olive on myself as well. That is why you are seeing gray. We could make it work but Sand 250 is the shade that worked best for me (light med with slight golden). I do think you would enjoy the Quartz as it was a teeny tiny bit too neutral for me. That is, if you liked the formula? If you prefer Reboot’s light coverage maybe not. It looked beautiful regardless. I will be wearing mine for special occasions as I don’t usually go for this much coverage. I hope this helps 🌸

To me, cashmere looks a tad lighter and leaning more on the yellow side of neutral. Silk looks darker and more neutral. I find that shiseido's neutrals run a bit gray. Maybe try for a cooler shade.
The Silk is a cool color and super gray...I was thinking of getting either a lighter neutral or a yellow color. I really miss the days where we could get samples.
I recommend Quartz 240 or Linen 220. I have the Quartz in the other Synchro Skin but would get the 220 in that one, because I think it might oxidize a tinge? In the store they put me in the darker tone (as is always the case and it never works!). I have green skin and tons of freckles, also with some redness. I like a bit of gray to neutralize that. Which is why I like 1N2 Ecru in EL DW and Futurist. I will also try the Reboot soon based on what you say about it!
I am neutral and the neutral color looked kind of green on me! Trying a slight rose undertone. We will see! I would like the bite comparison. Have you ever tried Clinique even better? I liked that and don’t know shy I feel I have to stray!😆
Have you tried the reformulated Chanel Les Beige Healthy Glow Hydrating Foundation? I think the shade range may better suit you. The formulation of both is very similar. YSL Le Teint Touché Eclat is another luminous foundation however is more of a true medium coverage whereas the Chanel is Light/medium but buildable. My skin type is similar to your and I am 64 years old.
Yes! I have a video on the Healthy Glow (spoke about it in this video), there's something in it that really irritates my skin. I did have the YS Touche Eclat and it's a beautiful foundation, but also had a problem with color matching for that one as well!
I think it looked great on your skin but if what the camera shows is different than reality not sure what to say about that. The only foundation that I’ve found to be mask proof is EL Double Wear.
That’s so strange as I feel our skin tones are similar I wear 2N in Dior and I was color matched at the Estée Lauder counter with that machine they have and 2N2 works for me and it’s not yellow at all or at least I don’t think it is. Maybe you’ve tried that shade already but if not you might want to get a sample of that. It really is the most amazing foundation. On me though I have to prep my skin with oil or it gets too dry and accents my lines & wrinkles!!
Wow I just had to write you back. Just applied Double Wear in 2N2 in my dining room which is flooded with natural light in the am and you are absolutely correct that this is very golden and not nearly as Neutral as I thought. Sorry!

Such a beautiful foundation on you especially with the finishing powder. This was my go to foundation several years ago, but could not get the proper color match as I'm fair with cool undertones. I'm still grieving over the Dior Compact Powder Flawless Foundation that was discontinued several years ago - perfect color, cover and flawless in every way.
The Shiseido undertones are difficult, for sure. I had the previous (with the odd bottle) and I feel like they only had 10 shades or so. So, they've improved a bit, for they're still a little "off" somehow.
Would this be a similar foundation to the discontinued Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth infusing foundation? I haven't been able to find a foundation which has as nice of a finish as the Estee had.

Regarding Chanel colours, try their BR range, the R means rose, which I think will be more suited to your complexion.

As you find the MUFE Reboot not exactly your colour, try the Y225, a very neutral colour.

Quartz - it's really hard with this line, none of them are "just right" for me. Silk was too pink.
Even though I am Team Blue Mirror, I found an interesting one and will send a pic over IG. It might be a bit small but has 1x and 10x. 😉🙏🏻
