I get what you mean but nursing and radiology are so different , completely different. I went to nursing school for 1 year and I dropped out because I hated wiping old ppls butts and doing so much labor I just finished my 1st year of rad tech school and to be honest rad tech has way less patient care . That's the only reason they get paid more - labor. Also in nursing your body will wear out must faster than X-ray and in my state , double modality techs make almost the same amount as an RN with much less labor and work. A nurse makes about 130k here in NYC and an MRI tech 110k . Just a 20k difference for so much labor and hard work and dealing with bs from patients. As a nursing student and rad tech student , rad tech is way better and laid back.
I respect you opinion but I been doing this for 12+ years and the growth for Nursing will always surpass the growth in Radiology. It’s just the way it is 🤷🏽♂️
Hi Juan! Im 17 years old and just graduated highschool 2 weeks ago. If I wanted to go straight into RT do I just talk to a college advisor about it I currently am lost and need someone to answer the very important questions. I know you would need to take the 2 year bachelors course with all the required credits etc.. and pass the last final exam I forgot the name (xd). Anyways love the vids I am definitely appreciative of you brother. If it would be possible Is their a chance I can get into direct contact with you for any questions along my journey for my future? Also I appreciate you always being honest with us! Cant believe I got to your channel before it blows up lol!

Great questions, I was surprised said x ray starts at 20s per hour. Is it that much different in California?? I was thinking that x ray techs could make up to 140k per year
Yo! Welcome 🙏🏽 Thanks for watching Please remember if you haven’t already SUBSCRIBE, WATCH & LIKE 👍🏽 my videos it helps reach more people who need this content 🙏🏽 Ok so yes places in FL start low depending on where you work: Florida: Dr. Office - $22-25 hr Hospitals - $27-29 hr Imaging Centers - $22-26 hr California pays way more because of the cost of living. So yes in California you can make over $140K if you work SUNDAY - SUNDAY. Hope this helped 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yo! Welcome 🙏🏽 Thanks for watching Please remember to SUBSCRIBE, WATCH & LIKE 👍🏽 my videos it helps reach more people 🙏🏽 Yeah most new nurses don’t make $30-40 hr because they are New Nurses. Now once you’re a Nurse for at least 1 year they do bump you up to like $30-32 hr minimum. So at the stage in my career I no longer have the passion to go to school for medical careers. I am (RT) (CT) & have my BA in management. I been in the medical field going on 14 years & im slowly transitioning out. So this is for a person who is new to the medical field & isn’t sure what career has the best FUTURE opportunities. Hope this answered your question 🙏🏽

thank you for answering my question, in my school its actually easier to get into nursing lol
Yo!
Thats what I’m here for & again if I were you Nursing has way more
Opportunities long term.
Whatever you choose GL 💯
Not every nurse makes 30-40 an hour. If nursing so great why don’t you do it? Not mean just asking. Some nurse are still starting at 20-25 an hour
